Meet Christine Fantin, a Frenchwoman who found a new path in life by exploring Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Shanghai. It all began with her search for a solution to her sleeping disorder, which led her to try TCM. Within just 15 minutes of her first trial lesson, she felt grounded and connected, which was a new experience for her.✨

Through this therapy, Fantin stopped taking sleeping pills and discovered her own strength and energy. Inspired by this experience, she decided to study TCM and pursued her degree at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2019. Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of exploring new cultures and practices. We are proud to have her as part of our alumni community. 🙌

Meet Dr. Hong Seok-gyeong, a dermatologist from the Republic of Korea who once struggled with acne himself. He discovered that traditional Chinese medicine helped clear his skin when some mainstream treatments failed. 😊

After graduating from SHUTCM, Dr. Hong begins practicing at Yueyang Hospital in Shanghai, where he utilizes Chinese herbal remedies and acupuncture to treat patients. As one of the few foreign physicians trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, he is dedicated to promoting medicinal cultural exchange between China and the ROK. 🌍🤝

She is the only international student at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to be included in the TCM heritage system.
