Due to circumstances outside of our control, we will be closing the newly opened Red Lantern location in Guiones, last night was our last night of service
While we are disappointed to not see this concept through a high season in Guiones, we are excited to share that we will maintain the location for pop up food events starting next month with a Summer Kickoff Weekend Block Party Series, featuring pulled pork cuban sandwiches, yuca al mojo, DJ dance party open and open air artisan market starting Friday December 15th at 5pm!

Pad Thai on banana leaf, some say it looks smaller than our pad Thai in Pelada, but it’s actually the exact same recipe and size, everything is weighed to ensure consistency. Appearances can be deceiving. So why not serve it in a bowl here at our Guiones location? Waste water. The use of the banana leaf allows us to save water when washing up, significantly reducing the amount of waste water.
Embracing banana leaves in our serving style is also a nod to the Asian street food markets, where flavors and sustainability harmonize. 🌱💚

Banana leaves are biodegradable and abundant, making them an excellent alternative to disposable waxed paper(industry standard).
By using this eco friendly plating rather than bowls, we significantly reduce the amount of waste water produced on our property. It’s a win win, and we think they look pretty damn cool too!
