Un plumeau ? C'est un ver ! Un ver à plumes ?!? Oui, Sabellastarte Magnifica (sabelle magnifique) est un ver dont les radioles, qui servent à s'alimenter, ont une très grande ressemblance avec des plumes ✨

En snorkeling comme en plongée, on cherche toujour à préserver la fragile équilibre entre avoir les meilleures photos/vidéos et ne pas déranger les créatures marines. Cette petite tortue verte était bien installée pour sa sieste, qu'elle a pu commencer après cette courte visite de Keep Breathing 🤫🥱
In snorkeling or scuba diving, we seek to achieve the thin balance between the best images and not disturbing marine life. This young green turtle was all confy for her nap, which she could start right after Keep Breathing's short visit. 🤫🥱

Coup de foudre ! Ce magnifique poisson-vache polygone (Acanthostracion polygonius) se distingue des autres poissons coffres grâce à ses deux petites protubérances qui ressemblent à des cornes au-dessus des yeux. Il peut changer la couleur et l'intensité de ses motifs, on peut voir le détail de de sa peau à la toute fin de la vidéo. Avec sa bouche en coeur, avouez qu'il est absolument charmant !
Love at first sight ! This beautiful honeycomb cowfish (Acanthostracion polygonius) has a horn-like spine above each eye, which helps to distinguish them from other trunkfishes. They can change the color and intensity of the honeycomb pattern on their skin, as you can see the detail of at the very end of the video. With their heart-shaped mouth, who can resist their charm !

Le corail bois d'élan est très fragile, et considéré en danger à cause, entre autres, du réchauffement de l'eau de mer. Alors quand on trouve un jeune spécimen comme celui-ci, qui semble en pleine forme, ça donne de l'espoir pour le futur du récif 💙🩵🪸🩵💙🇨🇼
The elkhorn coral is a fragile species, considered in danger, because among other reasons of the rising sea water temperature. So when we find a young specimen like this one, that seems thriving, it gives us hope for the future of the reef 💙🩵🪸🩵💙🇨🇼

On the reef we regularly see a trumpet fish sticking closely to another species, in this case a parrot fish. It is an opportunistic hunting method for small prey dislodged by fish munching on algae. 🐟 🎷🦜💕
On voit régulièrement sur le récif un poisson trompette se coller sur une autre espèce, dans ce cas-ci un poisson perroquet. C'est une méthode de chasse opportuniste envers les petites proies délogées par le poisson qui gruge des algues. 🐟 🎷🦜💕

And just like that, May is over... We did night dives, wreck dives, drift dives, we saw big tarpons and tiny seahorses, schools of identical masbangos and super rare trigger fish ! And we trained a a DAN DFA rescuer ! We are ready for whatever June might bring 🤩🤿🐟🪸✨🇨🇼
Et mai est déjà derrière nous... On a fait des plongées de nuit, d'épave, de dérive, on a vu de massifs tarpons et de délicats hippocampes, des bancs de masbangos tous identiques et un super rare trigger fish ! En plus de certifier un secouriste avec le cours DFA de DAN... Prêts pour ce que juin va nous offrir ?🤩🤿🐟🪸✨🇨🇼
