I am so proud to say I live to see another new chapter in the achievement of the LGBTQ+ Community Curacao. And also one of our brother and sister countries of Aruba. In all my years as an LGBTQ+ activist laying down the foundation is an honor to see how far we have reached. Yes! Indeed we came far away in doing what needed to be done.

When I look back to all I have experienced as a Gay man in this country of Curacao I say YES!! I will do it ag*in and continue to give my support. It's a long way we have walked together since 1997 with the 1st LGBT Conference " LET'S BREAK THE CHAIN", 2009 the 1st Trans Caribbean Conference, the 1sst Diverse Women Conference, GET WET, PRIDE WALKS, and on the 12th of July 2024 see how we win this Equal Right for Same-Sex Marriage,

What an honor for me to be part of this new change chapter in our society. Working together we can achieve more than we can believe or imagine. Thanks to all the foundations and groups that put their time, ideas, and strong belief we shall win in this. YES, LOVE WINS and will continue being so.
