BEAR is looking for his forever home, 4.5 years old, fit and healthy, friendly and good with other dogs of all ages and sizes but has one vice… CATS!! he hates them, we have 14 cats of all ages as well as other dogs and he is now having a massive negative impact on our ‘pack’

Bear was found thrown away and starving, at least 10kg underweight and covered in ticks and fleas but still licked me when I lifted him into the back of the truck, he’s now is up to his proper weight and is a handsome, friendly and well behaved boy (except for cats)

If you’re interested in rehoming him please contact me but be advised, I love this boy and I’ll not let him go anywhere if I’m not 100% sure, prospective new homes must agree to undertake a home check.

He’s neutered, microchipped, passported in Cyprus and ready to fly to the UK if needs be.

So today is 30+ degrees and Bear decides to lay in full sun, in a bed with no mattress instead of one of the 4 other comfy beds that are either is the shade or the AIR CONDITIONED KENNEL that I’m paying extortionate electricity prices to run ya d***y lummox 🤦‍♂️🥵🥶

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY to Bear, on this day a year ago this flea-ridden, tick-infested bag of bones came into our lives.
The intention was to get him well and find him a new home but guess what?…. yes I failed miserably AGAIN 🤦‍♂️

PUPPY ANYONE?…. so just when you get used to having just our own dogs we literally full over this baby girl, tiny baby with her eyes still closed and umbilical cord still attached, we need a bigger house 🤦‍♂️

I think these two have had enough of winter now, laying in the sun and moving around to stay in it, another few weeks and the shade sails will have to go back up 😎

Today it’s 3 years since I lost my most loving and loyal rescue ever, Silvi sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on this day in 2019 and so, so missed, she’d have loved sunbathing in the Cyprus sunshine.

We came back from our walk this morning to find 4 dogs in the garden, it was just like they’d come round to wish Bear a happy birthday 🎉🎁🎂🐾🐾🐾🐾

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAR, 3 TODAY 🐾🎉🎁

3 little ones in for spaying today, 2 bigger girls are ok but little ‘Baby’ is in a bad way, (Baby is her name) she was abandoned by her mum just after birth and almost died a couple of times already, we can’t risk her getting pregnant so this was the lesser of two evils, the vet had to scan her to find her tiny ovaries, her spleen is too small and only has one functioning lung, come in Baby, we’re all rooting for you 😿😻

I’m sure Mitzi used to be a parrot in a former life, she jumps on our backs at every opportunity, makes you jump when she surprises you 😹

NALA (blind cat) got all confused and was sitting with her nose literally pressed against the wrong door to go outside, so trying to ‘rescue’ her Mitzi and Baby (latest rescues) decided they needed to get closer to see what’s going on to make sure they didn’t miss anything 🤦‍♂️😂😻

What a handsome young man he’s become, a far cry from that tiny, dirty little bundle that I found, miss you baby boy, hope I get to see you again someday xx

LATEST RESCUE….. now that Loki is safe and happy in his new UK home we can tell you about him, he was found wandering the streets a few months ago, only a few weeks old, starving and covered in hundreds of ticks, we took him to the vet thinking they were going to say it’s kindest to put him to sleep but with love, kindness and lots of food, he pulled through.

Not sure on the breed but there’s definitely Mallinoise in there!!

We all miss you loads little man (especially Bear) but I know your new family love you as much as we do so have a long and happy life xx

OPINIONS PLEASE: Bear is now at 33.5 Kilos, 26 when we found him, what do y'all think, I think he looks about right? Vet advises against carrying too much weight due to 50% Dispaysia left rear hip?
