❌10. 9. - 01.10.2024 2024 wird die Touristenroute im Königspalast wegen der Ausstellung der Kronjuwelen geschlossen sein.

⛔️10.-16.9. + 19.9. + 01.10.2024 ist der Königspalast für die Öffentlichkeit komplett geschlossen.

17.-18.9.2024 und 20.9.-30.9.2024 ist der Zugang zum Königlichen Palast nur zur Besichtigung der Kronjuwelen möglich. Achtung! Dies bedeutet stundenlanges Anstehen.

Am 26.9.2024 ab 🕐13:00 Uhr ist der Zugang zum Königlichen Palast nur zur Besichtigung der Kronjuwelen möglich.

👁Das Interesse an den ausgestellten Kronjuwelen ist traditionell groß, man muss mit langen Warteschlangen von mehreren Stunden rechnen.

Andere Teile der Burg sind für die Öffentlichkeit uneingeschränkt zugänglich, mit Ausnahme des ⛔️16. September 2024: An diesem Tag sind der Veitsdom und die südlichen Gärten der Prager Burg für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen.

Altstädter Rathaus und die astronomische Uhr, 1945 / heute

**Prague Astronomical Clock (Orloj)**
The photograph from the Prague City Archives documents the damage suffered by the Old Town Hall and its astronomical clock on 8 May 1945. The ancient building had been targeted by N**i bombardment and suffered serious damage as a result. While a large part of the damaged town hall was torn down after the war, the astronomical clock was restored to its historic form.
