As the first-year students at the Hertie School, we, the Latin American Club, are both thrilled and nostalgic as we bid farewell to our amazing second-year members who have just graduated. Your dedication, passion, and leadership have been an inspiration to us all.

You’ve not only been board members but also mentors, friends, and role models. Your contributions have left an indelible mark on our club and our hearts. We are immensely grateful for everything you’ve done and wish you nothing but the very best in your future endeavors.✨

May your next chapter be filled with success, joy, and endless opportunities. Remember, you will always have a home here with us at the Hertie School.

Also big shoutout to our second-year members who graduated yesterday —our conference was highlighted as one of the key student events of the year during the ceremony! 🎓 We are going to miss all the graduated HELAC members!

Join us this Thursday, October 19 for a visit to the Mexican Embassy! This is an opportunity to engage in discussion about the Embassy’s key areas of focus and priorities, learn more Mexican culture and heritage, and discuss digital voting in the 2024 elections, among other topics. 🇲🇽

Join us this Friday, October 13 at 4pm to hear from Brazilian researcher Gabriela Lotta🇧🇷, who will present her research on institutional response to populism in Brazil. We will also hear from Brazilian students who work in the policy space and learn about the policy process in Brazil! Don’t forget to sign up for the event through the link in our stories.
