Warum faszinieren uns KI-generierte „Spiegel-Bilder“? Unser Wissenschaftler Edward A. Vessel ist dieser Frage gemeinsam mit Kolleg:innen des Ernst Strüngmann Instituts (ESI) und des Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics nachgegangen.

Das Forschungsteam generierte maßgeschneiderte Kunstwerke für Studienteilnehmer:innen und fand heraus, dass diese individuellen Werke als ästhetisch ansprechender bewertet wurden als „fremde“ Bilder. Selbstbezug spielt also eine große Rolle beim Genuss von Kunst!
