Another dream come true: After my successful stagediving action four years ago which allowed me to stand on stage with him and Bolt Thrower for like a minute in the Arena Wien, earlier this year I was even able to do an interview with one of my favorite death metal vocalists, Karl Willetts.

Soon is the exam period over and so I can finally-finally start the recordings of the introduction clip & my first video review. Would be cool to get it out before Chaos Descends as I'll have enough stuff to do there as well but let's see how it goes :)

New week, new ideas: no better time for it than the period of the upcoming exams.
I'm currently in the phase of having found out which album I'll make my first review (& introduction video) of and collecting ideas for cutting and editing. You and I may both have to have some patience but I'm real excited about doing something I love so I'm also sure I'll indeed get something out of it!

The beginning of this interview was the moment where I realized how amazingly the human brain can work -- Speaking of a festival 10 minutes before the start I was still kind of wasted and was questioning myself if I would be able to give my best reactions etc. in this condition, but by telling myself a few times "You're gonna make an interview with f**king Martin van Drunen" astonishingly my brain not just started to work right away as we sat down but also kept itself as concentrated as rarely before, all along. Hi people :)

I decided to make a page for my blog as I've already been playing with the thoughts of making more out of the whole writing/reporting thing for years. At Darkness Unseen you can already check out lots of interviews with really well-known heavy metal musicians I had the chance to sit at one table with and/or to transfer my words through the same telephone line to, and I also really enjoy summarising my thoughts to be able to describe a musical experience the closest to the way I was having it. And so I couldn't help my curiosity to check if it can actually catch the interest of others.

My plan is to develop https://darknessunseen.wordpress.com/ into a video blog with live interviews, video album reviews and recorded festival/concert reports in the near future. I don't want to and am not going to force myself upon anyone -- You're interested = I'm happy.
