No 3 by FLUID took place at our office last night! We were thrilled to host Rainer Hirt, founder of Audity GmbH, who delivered an enlightening presentation on how to integrate sound into the process of designing user experiences and enhancing brands.
Rainer introduced the “Sound Follows Function” approach and shared fascinating insights on the role AI is playing in shaping the future of design.

The evening sparked a lively Q&A session, as our guests wanted to learn about the cultural and social impact of sound, the optimal points for sound integration, the methods audity uses and the intriguing outcomes of the sound cases he presented, including Teufel and Swiss Post.

Weather Monitoring with EUMETSAT: together with EUMETSAT, the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites, headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany, we created a new digital platform. The Eumetsat User Portal delivers an exceptional user experience by making meteorological satellite data more accessible and comprehensible and granting the user access to all satellite data, services and information with a single login.

EUMETSAT stands as a cornerstone institution, boasting 30 European member states including Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, among others. As a pivotal member of the Coordination Group for Meteorological Satellites (CGMS), EUMETSAT not only contributes to but also leads the international effort in meteorological satellite operations.

FLUID goes MCBW: full house yesterday!

As part of the Creative Business Week, we invited to an open door event at our FLUID office, and were thrilled to welcome so many wonderful guests!

With this year’s MCBW theme centered around co-creating with nature, we got hands-on with Mycelium - the vegetative network of fungi that branches out in the underground and that can be used for biodegradable packaging, furniture, product design, many other applications. We had a lot of fun experimenting with this fascinating & innovative material, shaping it into products, packaging and even our FLUID logo!

Our ID, UX / UI, and visual communication teams had the privilege of contributing to the expansion of the successful Barryvox lineup, elevating the product family to the next level by drastically enhancing the physical and digital user experience, design quality, style and performance. This was achieved through close collaboration with Mammut's product management and development teams, always building on Mammut's strong, established design DNA and Swiss roots.

Last night, the Creative Confluence event explored human-machine collaboration. Axel emphasised a crucial point: AI isn't here to replace us, but has the potential to augment our skills and capabilities.

But will AI completely change how we innovate, strategise, and develop new solutions? Axel offered an insight into his latest work where he combines his expertise and knowledge of innovation, strategy, research, and design with the latest AI tools to fast-track traditional processes, from research and data analysis to strategy, design, and prototyping. During the session, Axel provided invaluable tools and tips to elevate our AI learning curve evolving from solely human efforts to assisted, semi-autonomous and expert autonomous stages, particularly in developing business strategies.

The discussion highlighted the unique strengths of humans and AI: human creativity, empathy, and expertise, versus AI's data processing and productivity capabilities and how combining these strengths can unlock new creative superpowers.
