If life gives you ingredients, you mix them!

So, dear friends and network, here is the mocktail I created for the DM I Mocktails Championship.

I called it "Harmony Fizz".

The base spirit, a non-alcoholic rum infused with dried hibiscus flowers, harmonizes with a duo of honey and ginger Monin syrups burnt in a cast iron pan, creating a delicate balance of sweet, bitter, and floral notes. Sparkling water, clarified lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salty cricket powder elevate the concoction to new heights. It is served in a Highball glass, crowned with a clear ice spear, and adorned with a green apple peel coin.

This is more than a mocktail; it reflects my journey through the last years, and almost every ingredient has a story to tell.

So, I would like to thank you all for inspiring, supporting, and helping me through this journey!

I just finished conducting my first cocktail course to a crowd of over 30 people, and it was a blast, thank you, everybody for participating! 🎉🍹

The Elixir of Long Life, that's what we call it.

🍸👨‍🔬 Yesterday, we had the opportunity to taste with none other than the head distiller .dave representing Gin! 🤩 It was amazing to hear him share his expertise and to sample all of their incredible products.

As the days grow shorter and the weather gets colder, I miss the vibrant energy and excitement of the summer months.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of passing on the summer vibe to the crowd through a delicious drink. I can't wait for the next car show season to roll around so I can do it all again.

As we say goodbye to the old and hello to the new, I want to thank all of my amazing work partners in the events and hospitality industry. From event planners to servers to fellow bartenders, I am so grateful for the hard work and dedication you all bring to the table every day.

As a bar and restaurant supervisor, I am constantly trying new and exciting things, and the last half of this year has been no exception. I was fortunate enough to try a delicious 5-course meal and wine and beer tastings at the two newest hotels in the chain, Scandic Spectrum and Scandic Norreport. So grateful for the opportunity to experience all that these amazing hotels have to offer. Here's to making the most of every opportunity and embracing new experiences!
