ANNOUNCEMENT!
After almost the last year of fighting against things that i shall explain, and an extremely heavy heart, our original BistroShabby Chíc in Altea will be closed permanently this Sunday 18th February 2024! 💔😥
The main issues we have faced are from the Ajuntament d'Altea whom removed our right to have our beautifully famous, romantic street terrace on Calle Salamanca from 13.00h to their new permitted hour of 19.00h 7 days a week and all year round!! 😡
Having no terrace for daytime clients to enjoy our wonderful climate and al fresco dining in our beautiful historical town, we have been achieving losses in excess of 1000€ per day.
Secondly, a so-called petition signed by the Association of neighbors for the Casco Antiguo Altea fighting to no longer allow any terraces until 19.00h on Calle Salamanca have facilitated this ridiculous, inconsiderate, non tourism friendly petition that clearly the has accepted! 😡
Thirdly, the Policia Local Altea, whom i understand, are only doing their job by enforcing the new rules issued by the idiotic previously explained two parties.
Yes, we have been victims of discrimination and racism from officials who work for the government and enforce the law, both of which promote a totally inclusive society... sadly, not including us.
SO Why not join us THIS SUNDAY and be part of a Special Moment and say farewell to THIS particular Bistro Shabby Chíc Calle Salamanca 7 Altea., but NOT GOODBYE!! 💜
We have created a new menu in one of our sister restaurants, FAM by Shabby Chic , that will include our best dishes from Bistro Shabby Chíc, as well as many New Delicious options. FAM by Shabby Chic is also in the Old Town of Altea, Calle San José 1 and has the most amazing views on our Panoramic Rooftop Terrace, Wood Ovens and BBQ, and the same selections of Quality Wines, Vermut, Cocktails and Spirits.
REMEMBER we still have Shabby Chic Bistro Albir , Carrer Ruperto Chapi 4 (just down the street from Sabadell Bank, before Bay Leaf Restaurant) where we are continuing to serve our delicious, fresh, Mediterranean-Fusion style cuisine, with weekly specials and entertainment.
DON'T FORGET our newest addition that is situated just next to FAM by Shabby Chic Altea and is called Freya.

Después de casi el último año de luchar contra cosas que explicaré, y con el corazón extremadamente apesadumbrado, ¡nuestro original BistroShabby Chíc en Altea cerrará definitivamente este domingo 18 de febrero de 2024! 💔😥
Los principales problemas a los que nos hemos enfrentado provienen del , que nos quitó el derecho a tener nuestra famosa y romántica terraza en la calle Salamanca desde las 13.00 h hasta su nueva hora permitida de 19.00 h, los 7 días de la semana y durante todo el año. 😡
Al no tener terraza para que los clientes diurnos disfruten de nuestro maravilloso clima y cenen al aire libre en nuestra hermosa ciudad histórica, hemos estado logrando pérdidas de más de 1000 € por día.
En segundo lugar, una supuesta petición firmada por la Asociación de Vecinos del Casco Antiguo Altea que lucha para que no se permitan terrazas hasta las 19.00h en la Calle Salamanca ha facilitado esta petición ridícula, desconsiderada y nada amigable con el turismo que claramente el ha aceptado! 😡
En tercer lugar, la Policía Local de Altea, a quien tengo entendido, sólo está haciendo su trabajo haciendo cumplir las nuevas normas emitidas por los dos idiotas explicados anteriormente.
Sí, hemos sido víctimas de discriminación y racismo por parte de funcionarios que trabajan para el gobierno y hacen cumplir la ley, los cuales promueven una sociedad totalmente inclusiva... lamentablemente, sin incluirnos a nosotros.
Así que ¿por qué no unirte a nosotros ESTE DOMINGO y ser parte de un Momento Especial y despedirte de ESTE particular Bistro Shabby Chíc Calle Salamanca 7 Altea., pero NO ADIÓS? 💜
Hemos creado una nueva carta en uno de nuestros restaurantes hermanos, FAM by Shabby Chic, que incluirá nuestros mejores platos de Bistro Shabby Chíc, además de muchas nuevas opciones Delicious. FAM by Shabby Chic también se encuentra en el casco antiguo de Altea, Calle San José 1 y tiene las vistas más increíbles en nuestra terraza panorámica en la azotea, hornos de leña y barbacoa, y la misma selección de vinos, vermut, cócteles y licores de calidad.
RECUERDA que todavía tenemos Shabby Chic Bistro Albir Carrer Ruperto Chapi 4 (justo bajando la calle de Sabadell Bank, antes del Restaurante Bay Leaf) donde seguimos sirviendo nuestra deliciosa y fresca cocina de estilo Mediterráneo-Fusión, con ofertas semanales y entretenimiento.
