Early morning walk.

Los Cristianos is without a doubt one of the most popular holiday destinations across all the Canary Islands. The clean, artificial beaches, charming fishing harbour, all year round sunshine and an endless list of local attractions, all go to make Los Cristianos one of the most attractive European beach destinations. Playa De Los Christianos is a really good beach in the Los Christianos area. Sands are clean and the sea is clear ,gentle waves making it ideal for young families and great beach amenities, along the paseo are lots of really good pubs,bars and restaurants, its just a great beach to visit. Make sure you get your cream on and stay hydrated as it can get very hot. Today was 29* mucho caliente 🥵 (hot)

500metres from apartment you will see the main Los Cristianos bus station. You can get on any of these buses using a Tenta card. You ask in the bus depo for a tent card and pre load it. Usually €10 or €20 euros last 2-3 weeks it depends on how often you get the bus. For example to get to the airport it’s about 2euros and that’s 15 min away. So as you can see it’s mega cheap to explore the island.

What’s not to love ? After a nice meal and drinks we like to walk along the beach and watch the waves crashing against the rocks and watch the ferry’s dock into the harbour. The views are amazing, the sand has cooled down some and the temperature has settled down too.
Stood watching the world go by and enjoying the sea breeze. What’s not to love ?

As you come out of the back gates of the apartments, turn right and walk to end of road and at the roundabout on the left you will see a big shopping centre called Manhattan. On the top floor you will find places to eat and drink, ice cream parlours, and there is a kids land! Cheap too!! A good place to enjoy for all the family.

Back to the pool to cool down… it’s a hot one today. After a long walk it’s so good to just run and jump into the pool. ☀️

Playa Las Vistas Beach is situated on the border of the Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos resorts. This Beach is stunning, with fine golden sand and has been awarded the European blue flag for quality. This is probably the best beach in the south of Tenerife. A road leading to Los Cristianos harbour is all that separates Playa Las Vistas Beach from Los Cristianos Beach. And Playa de Las Americas.

Playa Las Vistas Beach has 2 Main Snack Bars and 1 smaller one in the Middle for all those cooling Drinks and Snacks, There are many Restaurants along the walkway by the edge of the Beach and also a McDonalds. The Beach has Changing Rooms, Toilets, and a Red Cross Centre from where Life Guards are Stationed. They Walk up and Down the Beach All day, adding that bit of Safety. There are 7 Blocks of Sunbeds, Each Set of Sunbeds has a Sombrero, There is a Charge for these Groups of Sunbeds but of course you can take a Beach Towel down onto the Beach. The Beach is Sieved every Morning so the Soft Sand is Nice and Clean for that relaxing Sunbathing and Castle Making. The Bay is Protected by a Sea Defence at each end so the Waves are quite Small so its great for the Children but look out for any Big Boats going by out to Sea because they give out a wake and by the time it reaches the Beach the Waves can get Bigger.

Playa De Los Tarajales is mainly a rocky and pebbly beach, it’s the quieter end of Playa de los Cristianos beach which is perfect to enjoy peace and quiet and time to yourself.
However, each day the local canoe enthusiasts set off from here,both the professionals and the amateurs from the hire companies. Playa De Los Tarajoles is a really rocky beach that we like to explore along the coastline.
It’s a bit rocky so make sure you have sea shoes on… but I must say the waves are amazing, and the views are spectacular. This beach is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning to visit Los Christianos.

They say a word paints a thousand words, beautiful beaches and plenty to choose from!! Do you prefer a white sandy beach, a rocky/pebble beach or a volcanic one ? Here in Tenerife we have amazing beaches with idyllic views. Just look at it….it’s a feeling of freedom and tranquility.
