Stacey Cute was born into a musical family and grew up in Scotland, heavily influenced by the strong post-punk independent music scene there.

She began playing in bands at a young age and building a genre-bending record collection that encompasses everything from J-Pop to EBM. She believes in the magical power of music to bring people together. She founded the - a creative collective where women and femme folk can enjoy and experiment with music and art.

As a selector, she describes her style as Disco Goth – heavily danceable tunes with a dark edge.
