We all get lost sometimes, sometimes for a short while, sometimes longer, sometimes for a whole lifetime. How is it then that Reiki can guide us home to ourselves? Reiki is the energy of pure love, the force behind all life, it's what makes our heart beat and our eyes shine. We are that energy naturally, but the mind gets in the way sometimes and the sense of ego, of a separate self and its clinging and attachment to its self-serving wants often times get in the way of the natural flow of things. The need to control and manipulate in order to feel safer in a universe which is largely beyond our control, can lead us away from the truth of who we are naturally. That truth which is beyond the individual self, beyond the stories we tell ourselves, beyond the clinging and the fears is ever present and loving and we need only tap into it to remember who we truly are. The practice of Reiki is a way of reconnecting to that truth, that essence and whenever we can reside in that, we are truly home.

A Reiki Level 2 student practicing advanced healing techniques.

The Reiki Level 2 attunement increases our connection with our intuition and inner guidance.

One benefit of this is that it enables us to work on our client with more sensitivity to their system's needs. It also increases our ability to sense the subtle energy bodies or layers of the person's aura, and to rebalance them as part of the Reiki treatment process.

We can all learn to tune into our inner guidance and intuition and when we take the step of taking Reiki Level Two that connection naturally increases as part of the attunement process.

Many people find that they are able to sense Reiki energy far more strongly after the Reiki Two attunement and many see colours in their mind's eye when giving or receiving Reiki.

Level 2 Reiki increases our ability to hear, see and sense where the Reiki energy wants to flow and how we as a practitioner can best facilitate that.

It is up to us to trust and follow the whisperings and nudges from our inner guidance so that we may become a more finely tuned instrument or conduit for the Reiki energy to flow through, for the benefit of all.

With Reiki, ReAlign Energy Healing, Reflexology and the other healing therapies that I offer, we work with the body's natural ability to heal and restore balance.

The sessions bring our body, mind and nervous system into the state where healing (making whole and complete again) can happen.

We drop into a state of presence, of relaxation, we begin to breathe more deeply and we become aware of what's happening in our body and with our emotions.
