Science Week Celebration Inspires Innovation and Discovery

In celebration of curiosity, innovation, and pursuit of knowledge, Divine Word Coege of Legazpi, Junior High School Department centers the Science Week Celebration on March 18-22, 2024.

The celebration highlighted the students wit and creativity in their Poster-Making Contest and Ultimate Science Quiz Bee. Exhibits in the various laboratories were also visited by different grades levels in their Science Subject.

In celebration of National Women's Month, the Divine Word College of Legazpi, Junior High School Department hold a Talk on Republic Act 7877 Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995, and a Talk on No More Children Having Children-Teenage Pregnancy. The activity was participated in by all students of the JHS Department at St. Joseph Freinademetz Gymnasium, March 21, 2024, 8:30-11:30 in the morning.

Divinian Staffers Immerse in Campus Journalism Seminar-Workshop

To hone their journalistic prowess, students from Divine Word College of Legazpi, Junior High School Department plunge into a three-day seminar-workshop on campus journalism, marking the inaugural day of the event on February 20,2024 at Nativity Hall.

With seasoned professionals and journalists, Mr. Jimwell Kenneth Tanay leads the charge on Sports Writing. At the same time, Mr. Rey Anthony Ostria delves into News Writing, Headline Writing, and Feature Writing, captivating the students with insightful techniques and real-world examples.

With two more days of enriching sessions ahead, anticipation brews for what insights and expertise lie in store for the budding journalists.

Stay tuned as Divinian journalistic talent unfolds during this seminar workshop.

Capturing the essence of the art – A glimpse into the recently concluded Seminar-Workshop on Photography dubbed as 'The Essentials of Photography: Mastering the Basics for Stunning Visuals' held at DWCL Nativity Hall on January 19, 2024.

Grateful to Mr. Carl Joseph M. Paja for unraveling the Theory of Basic Photography, and Mr. Lawrence Albert Lay for shedding light on practical applications and the business aspect.

This activity was spearheaded by the Divinian Photographers Club, together with their Club Moderator, Mr. John Paul Nocedo.
