Mrs Lillian and Mrs Taniela facilitate an information session on Immigration processes and requirements for our regional students. Covering PI uplifts and Study permit processes and requirements. This is the second of 3 sessions that will be held.

Turning trash into treasure! The GIG Monash students spent a part of their day creating inspiring artwork from recycled materials collected from the Nasese shoreline. The activity broaches on the bigger picture of thinking creatively with waste reduction and recycling.

Exciting news for all those interested in international student exchange! Today, USP Laucala held a fantastic program titled βProfessionals in Global Mobility.β This event aimed to connect with esteemed international partners from universities like Harvard University, UNSW, Flinders University, and the University of South Australia.
The program provided a platform for discussion and collaboration, focusing on facilitating student mobility opportunities between USP and these prestigious institutions. This is a fantastic development for USP students who will now have the chance to gain valuable international experience through exchange programs at some of the worldβs top universities.

Hailing from the beautiful islands of Papua New Guinea, Kaian just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kaian also served as the dedicated President of the International Students Association and now resides in New Zealand.

Our amazing USP international students just took an incredible trip to Silana Village in Tailevu last Saturday for their first focus group. Swapping city lights for village fires as we learned all about Fijian life in the village.
We got our hands dirty making traditional Lovo
feast, wove beautiful baskets and hats from the coconut leaves and even explored the world of herbal medicines. But the most valuable lesson? How the Silana villagers are living sustainably to combat climate change.

EXTENSION ON TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONLINE PERMITS AND VISA LODGEMENT
The Fiji Immigration Department wishes to advise that the temporary suspension of online permits and visa lodgement services will be extended. This extension will be effective from today, Thursday 14 March until Monday 18 March 2024.
