The SYC Centre will be closed whole day on Thursday 3rd March 2022.
You will be able to pay your last respects from 8.00am to 9.00am followed by a church service then to his village in Muana where we will hand him back to his families for burial etc.
We give tribute to Timoci Tokasara (Jatai) who has given almost half his life to serve the YMCA - Suva Youth Centre.
A meeting will be held at the Centre on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at 10.00am to discuss funeral arrangements with burial on Thursday 3rd March 2022 . All interested members and friends are welcome to attend this meeting.
Please note that the Suva Youth Centre will be closed on Thursday 3rd March 2022.
With deep regret we announce the passing away of our fellow colleague, staff and friend Timoci Tokasara who died peacefully in his son's arms on the way to hospital this morning around 7.00am. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. May he rest in peace.
Today we start our lunch sessions with our volunteer instructor Sarote. She will take sessions until we find a suitable person to replace Tucika and Sunia. We have a few options however are making careful decisions for the replacement for the benefit of members and patrons.
We hope to see you soon and Sarote will ensure that you get back to your former "Glory Fitness".
Renu's "Body Fitness" also begins today at 5.30pm and will be exciting to meet up with "teammates" for another grueling session.
Please don't forget to bring your mask, Vaccination Card with two vaccinations on them, to adhere to the Ministry of Health protocols.
For those that are yet to complete your double vaccinations, we look forward to you in joining us as soon as possible.

Please be advised that we now have a permit to operate under strict conditions. The workout Gym is now open and a towel and canvas is a must together with the usual Covid protocols.

Member's and Patrons please note that we are still a the process of meeting the requirements by authorities to reopen and will notify when it is fully completed. In the meantime entry will require two vaccinations on the card to be sighted on entry at all times, face mask with your Care Fiji on. Stay safe and we will see you soon.
As we all look forward to resuming our routine training when the centre reopen, we are encouraging all members and patrons to try and get their 2nd vaccine jab by October 2021.
