💣 Flow 2020 > Created from Tokaj' historical blend Furmint-Hárslevelű-Muscat blanc à petits grains -
An awesome blend showing historical vineyards across two villages close to Géza's HQs in Mád.
Part in oak and part in steel on the lees for 18 months.
So incredibly straightforward yet so carrying the signature of the winery. Incredibly long, textured and fresh!! 3707 bottles.

So excited and proud to announce another new awesome wine from Portugal's greatest & are now available in France only via :

🔥 Flos Castaneas 2022 > 100% Bical destemmed and fermented on its skins for 2 weeks then aged a year in big casks and amphora.
Flos Castaneas refers to the chestnut flowers used as a preservative instead of sulphur (as taught by ).
Only 1155 bottles with much less than that for the French market. Incredible stuff!
Can Filipa and William really make a bad wine?

🔥 S.L.RA > 100% Bical traditional method made from all vintages back to 2001 made in a solera method (fractional blending). Disgorged in November 2023. Brut nature. Champagne but only better.
Less than 1000 bottles are released every year and one of greatest sparkling wines I've ever tasted.

Nossa Calcario from Portuguese rockstars and (100% Bical - older vines - many ungrafted and centenaries from Northern Bairrada) is clearly a standout and has finally given spotlight to a grape that doesn't often get any❤️💥

Another special showcase of my portfolio including a super rare and special Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 2006 from showing some power yet some beautiful freshness, showing and Cialla's cool climate in Friuli, opening up into layers and layers with more ageing potential that Refosco brings.
Almost to the point where grapes, producers and location don't matter anymore, fading with age.

Vacay and Savennières-Anjou have always held a special place in my heart.
Whether it's thanks to certain producers or the context in which I had the wines, the very Western part of the Loire can deliver powerful, botrytis-heavy but also extremely age -worthy whites that are, to me, some of the beautiful whites across the Loire.
, or are awesome examples amongst others with Château de Plaisance being the newest of the bunch👌

Vacay time and hey, we REALLY tried to make our itinerary wine-free, gave it our best shot yet here I am posting about wine.
The Loire Valley truly is one of the coolest, most dynamic spots for wine in France these days.
La Lune from Anjou icon, Mark Angeli, was so vibrant and delicious with about 5-7g of RSA and the wines from Vincent Pinard always deliver❤️
is a cool new project started in 2018 that still need some finetuning for the wines to truly take off and become super special but so much potential ahead!!

Awesome juice, the best Vouvray producer I've ever had and possibly one of the best Chenin I've ever tasted.
Julien Redel makes no more than 1500 bottles (3 barrels) a year from 0.3 hectares only which doesn't make this bottle easy to hunt down.
Organic and biodynamic farming. No-tilling philosophy in the vineyards, all work by hand. Indigenous yeasts only, no fining or filtering and very little sulfur added, if needed. Bottling straight from the cask the old-school way by gravity ("chèvre" in French with a faucet-like tool) with no pumps used throughout the process.
Now I understand why the wines are so special and so good. So much depth, intensity and vibrancy. Some of the best wines on the Planet.

How do 9 vintages out of 10 clock in at 12% alcohol? How do two native yet almost unknown grapes, Schioppettino and Refosco, deliver such deep wines? How are the wines moving with every single release?
I've been so in love with the work from the Rapuzzi family for years and I'm so grateful to get to bring their incredible wines into France.

Yesterday, I was so lucky to be invited to be part of the super special Montrachet GC vertical tasting which only happened a few times in the history of the winery since the 19th century🙏
I believe in very special wineries being able to make gems out of, maybe, more 'subpar' plots or vintages just as much as very special vineyards standing out for what they are and Burgundy, acclaimed for its super precise single-vineyard approach, has very few Grand cru plots and even fewer very relevant and special Grand cru vineyards;
I believe Montrachet is one of them. Prices and fame have taken things to a ridiculous level today but special vineyards where special wines have been made for a long time inspire respect and humbleness. Yesterday was that day!
Would you believe me if I told you the younger vintages were the ones blowing me away the most?

These two bottles from the amazing and dedicated and are so refreshing amongst the sea of soulless Chianti Classico. I've always rooted for one region's native grapes with my importing company because what better than to pursue planting what the place has planted for centuries? Why does Cab Sauv and Merlot fit into the picture of Chianti Classico when Sangiovese/Canaiolo/Colorino encapture the region so beautifully? These two bottles were so gorgeous, full of life with a beautiful lift harder and harder to find in the region today...🐞🪲🐝

The most incredible and memorable juice I had in 2024, still wondering who said the best wines on the Planet come from the classic regions?
La Côte 2018 ( love you dude❤️) from was immediately inviting, vivid and powerful at the same time. Super savory and beautiful American-style Pinot.
Chianti Classico 2018 from carried all the warmth, generosity of Chianti Sangiovese yet with so much freshness, precision and salinity.
Rouge George 2021 from .de.belliviere has been of one of my fav French wines for years. So good, super balanced without being stuffy.
Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru 2005 from was just one incredible bottle. Immediately opened up into a rollercoaster of flavors. Speechless.
X-Omni Vineyard 2022 from from the tank showed amazingly. So layered with weight yet weightless. Incredible job!!!!
