Amid the grim and distressing news, here is a reminder of what the beauty and majesty that surrounds us.

From , looking toward the rising , an astronaut on the International Space Station was able to capture the details of rising seen in the image. The station was orbiting over the northwest Atlantic Ocean, about 500 kilometers (300 miles) off the coast off Nova Scotia.

📸The image captures convective clouds in different stages of development. The ones in the background are mature cumulonimbus clouds.
The photographic technique reveals the cloud shadows, and this contrasts strongly with the brighter cloud tops. The shadows also contrast with the light of dawn reflected off the sea surface.

BREAKING: For the first time, scientists have discovered an object that orbits closer to the sun than Mercury!

Scientists have discovered an asteroid 1 km (0.6 miles) across called 2021 PH27, having an unstable orbit that crosses that of Mercury and Venus. This means that within a few million years it will likely be destroyed in a collision with one of these planets or the Sun, or it will be ejected from its current position.

Flight and ground operations at the NAIA are suspended. The alert is a safety measure taken to prevent untoward incident from happening when lightnings are prevalent in the immediate area and may endanger personnel, passengers and even flight operations.
