Lockdown and being sedentary has affected my clients in different areas of their bodies but one common complaint is a pain in the lower back, coupled with pain in the top of the thigh and a feeling of stomach cramping. Such unusual symptoms have left my clients thinking it is more internal ie;liver, stomach or kidney. After a little investigation I have decided to call this muscle strain "coffee table syndrome" basically from spending more time than usual bent over doing puzzles or just sitting crunched up on a sofa. The muscle is iliopsoas. See the diagram for points of pain.
