Pretty cool sock design - Banana socks. Pattern used to be in Rav.
No heel, as you can see. But quite comfy and stays on feet. :)
Finished in June, started wearing yesterday. Now I'm thinking about knitting another pair, just to knit something different. 😁 because last few months it was just a plain sock pattern all the time for a larger project (more info soon).

Late night shenanigans my style 😀 A sock pattern, some amazing yarns by superb yarn artists... ahh. Just couldn't stop😁 luckily it's a day off tomorrow. 😀

Classic sock yarn (75%wool/25% nylon) 100 g skeins and 20g minis. Some are so good, I want to keep😁

Some finishing touches. This time - for real :) frogged quite a big chunk of this vest some time ago. Now just a few rows left to knit... (fingers crossed🤪)

Another pair straight from the needles. Next pair already casted on. Hope to get a few more pairs to send away till the end of September. Have approx 1kg of this green colourway wool, so that's quite a few socks:)

Number one question for tonight is - where the heck is my pair of sock blockers????? Checked all house - nada! Where did I managed to put them, huh?🤪

After 27 hexagons for each sock (that'd be 27*4 ends to hide🧐
Anyway, loved the process, so will make another pair with some pattern changes. But now for a change will start a pair of plain easy socks🤪

When it's too hot to sleep... (+20*C is too hot for the night), all you can do is knit. Some small projects, like socks.

This wip is almost finished, thanks to Betsy - my beautiful stitch marker from :) it's always a joyful moment, when changing needles at the beginning of each row. 😉

I won't show this project in full just now, wait a few more days, please😀
It knits like a charm, even with +30 degrees outside😁

And yarn is so good to work with - 100% merino. 💕

That moment when you try on your wip vest and it fits! Even if the pattern is not size inclusive and you just guess correct numbers... yay! Life is good (except vacation is over and I'm back to work tomorrow)😀

When I had my previous couple days off, I started to cake dyed wool I made couple weeks ago. Disappointed. As yarn was breaking easily even being DK weight. :( and sad, because I liked this colourway so much! On the bright side - it was yarn from charity shop, so financially not a huge deal.

Breaking was probably caused by time left drying, as these days were hot and probably needed a lot less time...

Keeping all my fingers crossed, I'll be able to re-create this colour combo with merino/silk yarn which is ready to be dyed:)

Unearthed (found in a bag on my bookshelf to be exact) half finished sock... hope to finish it this or next week:) as first sock is already done some time ago😁

will probably recognize this colourway 😉 thought that some cables will be perfect for it :)

Didn't like this colourway. So... part 2 coming soon...😀

Warmer days are here, so I can start experimenting with colours again.
