Mildly terrified but also so proud that our lil coffee shop has been open 6 months today 🎈

We are still, and always will be SO grateful for everyone that decides to come in and support our small business 🤍 it means so much to see people enjoying Capuchin and to have so many people rooting for us to do well.

Being a small business is tough, especially at the moment, so anyone that has stepped foot (or paw) into Capuchin Coffee since we opened has genuinely made our journey so much better.

Stamford Park Tennis Courts
Trafford Council are proposing a system where park users will have to pay to use the tennis courts at certain times.
This would be done through an online booking system and a private contractor. There is a public consultation running over the next few weeks for people to feedback what they think.

Make space in your day for a conversation about mental health.

The day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health, by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

Well progress is being made with Hale Library.
The new library at The Pavilion is taking shape & looks amazing.
The temporary library though will close on 4/2 in order that staff can work on packing up the library & doing all that is required for the transition.
Everyone will be updated when the new library will be ready.

THANK YOU to ALL who have reached to offer help to migrant families who are due to arrive in Hale this week.

We have been overwhelmed with the generosity. Clothes, toys, games have all been offered.
At this time we cannot say what is needed or required.
We have no idea of numbers or ages.
Hopefully by this time next week we will have a clearer idea.

We will continue to keep the community updated.

National Civic Day is Saturday 17th June 2023
A day to take pride in our area.

Yesterday the president of Civic Voice, Griff Rhys Jones, attended a parliamentary event at the Houses of Parliament to promote pride in place on the high street in collaboration with the charity Civic Voice and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Civic Societies.
