Here in our Princes Risborough Shop we are celebrating the launch of Sustainable Fashion Week, Charity Shop Fashion Week and Second Hand September with this new window display ♻️

This original Singer 1970’s Sewing Machine, complete with original cabinet and instructions is in almost new condition. It’s been regularly serviced and works beautifully! This was spotted and picked up from a local recycling centre.

The sewing machine was then put to work to create this fabulous pair of vintage style dungarees from a pair of old kitchen curtains. The curtains were found in our storage attic at our Buckingham Vintage Shop.

The classic worn leather shoulder bag was in desperate need of some TLC. The handle was restitched on and with lots of leather balm applied, it now has a new life ahead.

The beautiful long skirt was made from a customer donation of bed linen. We love it, especially with the matching stylish collar made from the matching pillow case.

Lastly the Tie Dress, it speaks for its self. Creating that classic period bodice look oozing absolute uniqueness.
