We would greatly appreciate your Easter Egg donations. Every Easter egg won at the tombola, will help us be there for more patients across Buckinghamshire and its borders.

You can drop your eggs off at our shop until the 20th March. Thank you!🙏

The tombola will be taking place on Saturday 23rd March, opposite the O2 shop in Friars Square Shopping Centre, Aylesbury. Join in the fun and win some Easter Eggs, whilst supporting local hospice care.

🌹Dedicate a Forever Red Rose to a loved one this Valentine’s Day🌹

Our Forever Red Roses, each representing the life and memory of someone special, will be available to view in a beautiful installation at a private event in Waddesdon Manor on 15th April.

Once the display has finished, your Forever Flower will be returned to you as a keepsake, memory and a symbol of everlasting love.

You can now dedicate a Forever Red Rose to a loved one in all our shops across Buckinghamshire and its borders.

Pop into your local shop to make a dedication to remember and celebrate a loved one at our Forever Flowers event in April.

A garden of hand-crafted, metal red roses will form a stunning temporary installation at The Rose Garden, within the grounds of the beautiful National Trust estate Waddesdon Manor.

The display will first open to those who have dedicated a red rose for a private viewing on Monday 15th April. Then the display will be open to the public for two weeks during their visit to Waddesdon Manor.

Once the installation is removed, you will be able to collect your rose to display in your home or garden as a forever keepsake.

Suggested donation £35 per rose 🌹

FAKE BANK NOTES

Sorry we are no longer accepting £50 notes in our shops

We are sad to say that our shops have recently been hit by a number of fake bank notes. This has lost the Charity a lot of money and caused understandable upset to the shop teams involved.

All incidents have been reported to the police.

As a result, we are unable to accept £50 notes as payment.

We are also unable to accept bank notes of any denomination if we are not certain are genuine.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Charity shops are a vital part of shopping sustainably - helping to extend the lifetime of outfits for multiple owners and reducing the need to create new items. Over the last year, our shops have kept over 303,738kg of textiles out of landfill and we intend to see that number grow and grow.

With school almost out for summer, do you know a young person who would like to join our team of Summer Temps - helping out in our shops for a few hours each week to help cover the holiday and childcare commitments of our longstanding volunteers?

Volunteering with us on a short-term basis is a great way to learn valuable new skills, meet new people and help people in your local community. We give full training and support – and you can choose how and when you volunteer.

Each and every day our amazing Florence Nightingale Hospice nurses touch many lives through their compassion, positivity and kindness. They work tirelessly to provide quality care for patients and their loved ones and always with a smile on their faces.

They are all an inspiration… and we can’t thank them enough!

This year we are asking you to share your stories – it might be an individual nurse or team who has cared for you or a loved one - and we will pass your messages to the nursing team.
