Good evening everyone,
As most of you probably know by now that my business has changed slightly- hence for not posting so much via this page.
I now have my own Personal Training studio known as The Garage Fitness & Wellbeing Studio which is based in Haddenham on Bradmoor Farm. We have an awesome team of coaches and a really lovely community growing nicely which still blows my mind. All social media posts are now being shared via The Garage social media pages but I do still have my instagram account. Just so you know I will no longer be using this page.

It’s always a great achievement when clients are happy with their fat loss but as always, there is so much more to every journey! We had a lovely chat about some of the factors that no1 will ever see, that impact people’s lives in so many ways. As an example, having young children is a great tool to measure progress by, sometimes all it takes is a walk to school to see just how different things are.

This absolute legend has managed to lose just over 15kg..since starting with the The Garage Fitness & Wellbeing Studio and myself!
I’m unbelievably proud of you & just how far you’ve come mentally! I’m always amazed at the mental transformations of clients more so than the physical ones, as this is what I thinks wayyyy more important! But obviously we have to celebrate those wins that are important to members too & this is a great achievement 👏🏼👏🏼
Gem has achieved this through group training sessions, monitoring calorie intake and getting those steps in 👌🏼
We always say what happens outside of the sessions is also super important but having the support of her buddy has been vital throughout the process & I think she would be the first to admit that 💚

We’re very excited to be offering our Bootcamp sessions again, but don’t be put off by the name. This is a fun, but sometimes challenging fitness class. Which is accessible to all.
We use a variety of kit, team games & strength building exercises.
If you enjoy a good tyre flip, or perhaps the competitive nature of competing in a team then this ones for you.
This class puts the FUN in FUNctional!
Two sessions a week,
Tuesdays at 6pm
Fridays at 12.30 for that lunchtime fix!

This workout is next level..but I WILL give it my best shot. Shoulder mobility is going to be an issue here but I’ll be happy with any number of wall walks I complete..because for me, this is MY challenge. Remember to do things for YOU & no one else.

It’s almost been 1 whole year since I/we have been offering support, teaching classes & coaching via zoom 😱. I can’t even tell you how many hours worth of zoom that is, but it’s a lot!
So much has happened within that year, that when I sit back and reflect on it, it scares me a little. Time has moved so slowly in some cases but when thinking about this journey it’s absolutely flown by. I can’t quite get my head around it.
One thing I do know is that I’ve absolutely loved the journey, the learning curve that we all had to take, understanding how to make this work through a screen. Will people see the value, will they enjoy what we offer, will it work? How do I price this? In the first lockdown I offered my services for free, as I felt it was important to get people moving, not only for their physical health but more so for their mental health. I loved seeing faces from old gyms I worked at, close friends who had never tried our classes & those that live too far. I started a small private Facebook community that today is one of the nicest pages to read through, the support of current members is amazing!
I’ve gone from working in a commercial gym, to coaching people outside, to PTing from a clients Garage to owning my own PT studio & having one of the best teams around me 💚. I’m not sure where I would be without .p1fitness these guys are my lifeline..I’m sooo excited for where the next phase is going to take us as a team and a business and I’m extremely grateful and humbled to have such an amazing, supportive team around me.
Not only do we have an incredible team, but we have the best members that are so adaptable. Each time we throw something new at them, they throw themselves at it with 100% conviction and we just couldn’t ask for more ☺️. Some have been with us since the start 💚💚 & that truly warms my heart, to know you get value from us means the world! Genuinely!

Outdoor classes numbers:
Outdoor classes can resume as we stated at the weekend, with no stated upper limits. However, as per our DCMS approved COVID guidelines, we still advise a maximum group number of 30 including instructors.
The team are due to meet over the weekend to finalise a timetable for you all & a final confirmation will be made on the 22nd March! There is light at the end of the tunnel & we can’t wait to see you all.

Friday Celebrations🙌🏼
As most of you have probably already seen will be joining us as part of the Personal Training team at The Garage, I wanted to add why I’m so proud of this.
To give you all a little bit of history, myself & Megan have worked together in the past, albeit in very different roles (Megs used to be my manager 😉) and we’ve always worked really well together. I’m so proud and excited that Megan has decided to take on a new challenge & I know she’s going to be amazing!
Megan already does so much for The Garage and her managerial skills are going to be a huge asset to us. Not only that, but Megs is one of the most approachable people I know, which is why I know members and potential new clients are going to love you! I’m so proud of you & what you have already achieved in such a short space of time really. I’m also extremely excited to watch you grow and develop into a really amazing coach & motivator 😁.
This is also a post just to say that I’m very grateful for all of the team at The Garage and I can’t WAIT to see where the business goes and all the amazing things we’re going to do as a team.

Yesterday, I set a couple of my clients a small challenge- to try on clothes that they deemed something that didn’t used to fit, or that used to be a snug fit...
Look at these amazing results! 🤩🤩When you’re on a fat loss journey it’s super easy to focus on the negative things..such as weight & If you know me & how I like to coach my clients...me and the scales are not friends!! ❌❌
A great way to track progress is to keep taking photos, circumference measurements and to try on old clothes!
It was such a lovely thing to do yesterday, to hear how happy everyone is with their progress and something so symbolic is always going to be super powerful!
Sooo I’m challenging anyone who wishes to try this, who’s been working super hard during lockdown, to find those old clothes & get them on!! It’s a great way to see just how far you’ve come!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
