Aylesbury Boxing Club
Aylesbury Boxing Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) registered with HMRC as not-for-profit. All of our coaches and staff are un-salaried volunteers.
We are regulated and affiliated to the official national governing body - England Boxing. We only teach pure amateur boxing as seen in the Olympics. The Thame club was merged with Aylesbury bc back in 2005 . our current location at Evett close, stocklake Aylesbury where we became the Aylesbury Amateur Boxing Club. We are affiliated to the ABA of England and compete as a club in amateur boxing show
Great experience for our lads boxing on the Repton Tony Burns memorial show at the British home of boxing York Hall , unfortunately results didn't go our way today , both lads doing us proud against good home boxers.
Well done Finley and Donovan we win and learn together.
Big well done to Connor and Erik in today's national development championships, unfortunately results didn't go our way today , because of the luck of the draw both our boxers gave away a fair bit of experience, but gave it everything and heart and desire you can't teach, it comes from within .
You did the club proud and more importantly yourselves.
Another weekend another day on the road for our boxers , great rounds of sparring this morning in Blackbird Leys , well done boxers , thanks to the coaches at blackbird leys for having us over.
Now onto tomorrow's national development champs.

After a busy weekend for Aylesbury BC with 6 boxers out over 3 days . The weekend was finished off with a dominant performance from our Connor in the Youth developments semi final. Onto the final in 2 weeks 🥊🥊🥊
Round 2 of our busy weekend at the hockwell ring carnival of sport outdoor event.
First up Teddy Champney in his 1st skills bout, boxing a cracking little boxer from The Ring , Teddy boxed to instruction and really enjoyed the experience.
Next up youth boxer Logan was up against a tough home boxer , unfortunately Logan didn't get the result but he boxed well as he hasn't boxed since January and he has something you can't coach courage , bravery and a massive heart.
Progression over perfection.

The 1st round of our busy 3 day boxing weekend started well last night on the Shoebox show
First up Sammy boxing in his 1st skills bout , Sammy boxed really well against a talented home boxer , both hands raised , well done Sammy.
Next up was Donovan who won a split decision against a tough pressure boxer , it was a great learning bout for Donovan.
Last up was youth boxer Hassan competing in his 1st bout , boxing a sharp slick home boxer , unfortunately Hassan didn't get the decision but put on a good display.
Well done all boxers you did yourselves proud .
Round 2 this afternoon - Hockwell Ring carnival of sport .
On the road for the 1st bout of the season , Erik made us proud winning a unanimous decision against a tough homeboy. Big thanks to ex Aylesbury boxers Lloyd and Sonny for giving Erik valuable rounds in sparring and guidance over the last few weeks.
4 hour round trip for 6 minutes of boxing , was it worth it , of course it was. 24/25 season we are coming for ya.

Tonight's junior session is moved to 6pm til 7pm for one night only.
The 730 - 830 youth and senior class is only open for carded boxers.
Keep fitters/members we are open 7-8 on Friday for you guys to make up your session.

Our junior boxer Max Firby out with his dad on the 3am - 6am shift and boxing club members Trev and pricey on the midnight leg of the relay , latest update along with striders we've now reached the outskirts of Berlin and raised over £1800 in charity money.
Please keep digging deep for these 2 great charities.
The 48 hour relay was kicked off by coach Tim's mum at 4pm yesterday, here's some photos of night and early morning shifts , Everyman boxings Simon scott racking up 6 hours from midnight til 6am , Coach Tim then taking over and getting through 7.5 miles run/walk, thanks Janet Doman for the jacket it was needed.x

Here's our Donovan achieving outside the ring last night , winning an award from his school. Inside the boxing club Donovan is fast becoming a talented boxer and always does us proud and now he's doing himself and his family proud outside the ring.
D's got a great future ahead of him both in and out of the ring.

Home counties training camp today , saw 6 juniors/schools and 4 youth/senior boxers travel over to berinsfield for a 3 hour training camp , well done to all that attended , big thanks to the parents for giving up there sunday mornings to bring our lads over.
A great learning day.
Looking forward to this , will be teaming our boxers up to run together , nice little pre season charity run , main thing will be raising as much as we can for these charities.
We signed off the season with 4 finalists and semi finalist at the Midlands Box Cup
4 out of our 5 boxers were boxing against more experienced boys and performed really well and left the ring with their heads held high.
These lads are becoming fantastic boxers, learning the craft and more importantly they are becoming fine young men in the process.
Well done to the parents as well without whom it's not possible.
