We are very proud to announce that Rosalind is our carer of the month! We are so grateful for your outstanding support and commitment especially over the weekends we have been short and helped us to cover clients 💗
You have always shown dedication and compassion so from all of us congratulations 🎊 and well done!

We had a wonderful staff meeting last night! we asked some of our carers if they would like to bring in an item of food that represents their culture or just something that they love themselves and my goodness did we get that and then some!

We had a great time, full of laughter, discussions about wellbeing ,a little quiz about equality and diversity, talking about our valued clients and what makes us the best at what we do!

Thank you to our amazing carers for your time last night and the amazing food that you brought in!

Catherine started with Care and Carers in October 2022 and since then she has been instrumental in achieving our goal to provide individuals with high-quality, safe, and efficient domiciliary care and home support.

We believe we are the best in what we do and its because of our amazing carers like Catherine!

We asked Catherine a few questions about herself and thought we would share the answers so you can all see why she is our carer of the month and how she makes a positive impact to our company culture!

C&C: What motivates you?
Catherine: knowing that I make a positive difference and impact in peoples lives. Understanding that I might be the only contact a client has that day and the only person a client may raise a smile with throughout the day.

C&C: What is your work motto?
Catherine: How would I want someone to treat myself or my family member in a similar care scenario.

C&C: What is your proudest accomplishment?
Catherine: My Daughters.

C&C: What lessons have you learned in your role?
Catherine: That no two clients are the same. We must enter each new clients home and really listen to our clients thoughts, needs and wishes.

C&C: What is the key to your success?
Catherine: Being empathetic, a good listener, attentive, caring but also enjoy a giggle and a sing song. Having the balance between professionalism and friendship.

C&C: Who inspires you?
Catherine: Dolly Parton! Dolly lived through poverty and a very interesting childhood. Not only did she battle through these advertises but she made beautiful music from them that touches you. I also love that she loves who she is and how she looks. Dolly doesn’t care or let other peoples judgements affect her and that is an inspirational way to live your life!

C&C: What is the best advice you can give to your colleagues?
Catherine: Never judge a book by its cover. Take your time to listen to your clients, enjoy the stories and special moments. Remember the importance and value of your job. You are all amazing and I am proud of you all.
