Lower face Botulinum Toxin (commonly referred to as Botox)

We often hear about “preventative Botox” for the upper face to prevent deep set (static) lines forming on the forehead or between the eyebrows, we don’t usually hear about preventative Botox for the lower face.

As we age, we loose volume in the upper and mid face, causing the tissues to droop lower. This in combination with the pulling down effect of muscles in the lower part of our face leads to signs of ageing such as jowls, widening of the jawline and neck sagging.

What if we could prevent some of this from happening?

By placing Botox to key muscles in the lower face we can reduce the downwards pull, allowing elevator muscles to be unopposed and lift the face, giving us a more youthful appearance. For the best long term results, treatment should be performed 2-3 times per year.

To get happy, youthful skin, you need to get the basics right.

It doesn’t need to be expensive, but it needs to work hard for you.

A broad spectrum mineral SPF daily is essential to protect against harmful UVA/UVB rays. Daily use is a must to prevent visible signs of skin ageing.
