I hope you've all had a fantastic summer! As we head back to school, I know there are mixed emotions, especially for younger or new children. It's normal for some children to feel excited about meeting new friends and starting new adventures, while others might feel a bit anxious.

Please remember to listen to your child's feelings and reassure them that it's okay to feel a range of emotions.

For our new joiners, we'll ensure a gentle and welcoming environment where they can settle in at their own pace.

Exciting Last Few Days of Term! ✈️

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents and children ( our crew) . It’s been a fantastic year, and your support means the world to us.

Please check last day of school dates and last days, as some clubs finish earlier due to schools finishing early on their last day.

We also take this time to say a big thank you to all the teachers. I see firsthand how hard they work, often staying late and working during the holidays. Like us, they are dedicated to inspiring children.

With only a few days left of the term, it’s a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to our Year Six children who have been with us for so long. It’s always emotional and really sad. However, they are ready for the next page in their adventures, and we wish them all the best on their exciting new journeys.

We’re also really sad to be losing a few fantastic staff members, some of whom have been with us for a long time. We will keep you updated accordingly.

Despite the farewells, we’ve got lots of celebrations planned. Our team recently had our end-of-term gathering, and it was great to relax and spend time together. The team have parties ready for the children too.

It’s not over yet though! We’ve got holiday clubs, with just a few places remaining on certain days. You can book through our booking system. We’ve got lots of great themes lined up, ranging from space to Disney, and the children always have a fantastic time.

You can book for September and we look forward to wishing lots of new crew to our team.

Start planning your Summer of Play Explore our collection of fun activities for families throughout the year. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor family activities, come rain or shine.

Yay.....☀️☀️☀️ The warm weather is here at last and we're so excited. It means lots of playing outside, water play, and fun for adults too. ☀️☺️✈️☺️

Whilst a bit of sun and vitamin D is good for us, we also have to be careful to get the balance right. This is just a little gentle reminder for parent to:

- Suncream in their bag
- A hat
- Suitable clothing
- Drinking water (we have water readily available, but bringing their own water bottles encourages them to drink more)

A full moon is coming soon! Tonight we'll see the Strawberry Moon, the lowest full moon in years (thanks to last night's summer solstice). For some of you, it will only rise for a few short hours, for others (in the far north), it may not rise at all!

It may appear unusually large when low in the sky and even take on a reddish hue -- definitely worth a look!

This week, at HF we were buzzing 🐝 with creativity and giggles.
It's been wonderful to see all the children playing happily. Our dedicated team put a lot of effort behind the scenes to ensure every moment is not only fun but also enriching.

Our children learn a lot of life skills through play:
Teamwork— Learning to work together and support each other's ideas.
Creativity— Expressing themselves and thinking outside the box.
Social Skills— Making new friends and learning to communicate effectively.
