Last night some of our board members got together and sorted through 100 pounds of LEGO!

Meet the Builders: Kait and Francita
Kait is a registered dietitian nutritionist in private practice at Nutrition Awareness in Orlando, FL where she helps motivated individuals achieve their health goals using personalized nutrition. In her free time, you can find her exploring the city with her miniature Australian Shepard Grits, hitting PRs in at the gym, or practicing for her next Toastmasters speech. She is thrilled to be on the board for Brick Hearts and connect with others, one LEGO brick at a time.
Francita is a Caribbean-American Orlando native Multimedia Designer and Marketer. She enjoys using her multidisciplinary skillsets to help bring her client's stories to
life--creating experiences that connect customers to a company's mission. From working in higher education and as an entrepreneur serving companies of varying sizes, Francita has experience delivering the marketing and design solutions that serves a specturm of vearing communities. Additionally, she is the incoming President of Ad2, the young professional affiliate of the American Advertising Federation, and will begin her term in June 2020.

To maintain safety during COVID-19, we have created the Brick Hearts Driveway Drive.

Host a Brick Hearts Driveway Drive for your family, friends and neighbors! Designate a day or two with a specific drop off window and ask people to drop off their LEGO donations! Don’t want to host one at your driveway? Pick a central location with a time and day and host a drive there, aka, Blarget parking lot, Blursday, between this time and that time.

Once collected, if you live in Flagler, Volusia, Seminole or Orange County will can schedule a pick up. All others counties will need to mail/ship at this time. Contact us if you would like to host!

Meet the Builders. Today meet two of our board members, Chris and Yanis.

Yanis has a passion for giving back to worthy causes, both locally and beyond. As a lifelong lego-lover and a volunteer at a local hospital, the opportunity to be part of such a unique organization really spoke to him. He currently works in the business development field but has broad range of professional experience that he hopes to use to the benefit of the Brick Hearts foundation.

Chris is currently one of the owners of the hot dog food truck, Cholo Dogs, President of HiFive Creative and on the board of the Orlando City Foundation. Chris is passionate about making the world a better place to live and giving back. When not slingin weens or creating, Chris can be found at home with his girlfriend and three dogs watching the Miami Hurricanes and UCF Knights. He is excited to help build smiles piece by piece with Brick Hearts.

Kerri is our CEO and Kait is one of our board members.

Kerri Mohrman is a visionary with a passion for bringing something good and authentic to the world. After spending 20 years in the world of education, she is thrilled, as the CEO of Brick Hearts, to empower people of all ages to create with their minds, hands and imaginations. Years in education have convinced Kerri that mental wellness and creativity are closely linked to a person’s overall health. Kerri lives in Daytona Beach, Florida, with her husband Chris, daughter Ellie and their beagle Snips. She loves going to the beach and participating in local theatre.
