Fantastic news! Double Olympic Gold Medallist 🥇🥇 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗶𝗱𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸 🥇🥇 will be racing though Staincross, Mapplewell & Darton in The Tour Of Britain on Thursday 5th September 🚴🏾‍♂️🇬🇧🚴🏾‍♂️🇬🇧

We're so excited to see double Olympic gold medallist, two-time Barnsley CRIT winner and Yorkshire's own Tom Pidcock announced as one of the latest entrants into The Tour Of Britain men's cycling race.

Tom has won medals around the world, so it'll be fantastic to see him competing in his home county as we host the final part of Stage Three in Barnsley on Thursday 5 September.

You can catch Tom, who'll be riding for the INEOS Grenadiers, and the rest of the cream of the men's cycling crop whizzing through the borough, entering at Thurnscoe and taking in places like Cudworth, Pen*stone and Stainborough before digging deep to conquer the steep Hound Hill Road, turning past Locke Park and sprinting for the finish line in the town centre.
