I just wanted to thank you for the absolutely beautiful service you gave Jo, even though my heart was aching you still made me feel the joy he gave us all.
Every word captured who he was and no one could have ever put everything we told them about him together as beautifully as you did and also understand the amazing young man he was aside all that.
After worrying about only having 21 years to work with, I now realise just how much of an amazing life he had and that's all down to you.

Well, been an extraordinary week. Not every day you get to officiate services "accompanied " by the Grim Reaper!!
And today - with kind permission from his family to publish this, we said a fond farewell to a fellow truck driver, arriving in style on a Kenworth Tractor Unit.

Dear Wayne, Thank you so much for making Keith's service so memorable in the best possible way. You really did manage to put the details about Keith his life and legacy to us, into a beautiful dedication and celebration of all he achieved.

2 years today at losing our mum. Taking heart and able to move forward in life because we remember her strength and determination to continue. We salute you mum. Here is a poem of encouragement.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God ha laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way

Today has been an emotional roller coaster. We said goodbye to Mrs Shiela Hardcastle. For me, it was a privilege and a real honour because there is a history between our families growing up on New Lodge Estate and to be able to officiate this service for Ronald and his family meant so much. The "connection " between us still remains after all these years. The respect we were taught from our parents is evident. I wish everyone who has been part of my journey throughout my life all the best for the future. Thank you to Craig and his team at Hammertons for taking care of the proceedings today.

Today we were said goodbye to a fine gentleman from Hemingfield. This is the nice little Chapel inside Wombwell Cemetery. Thank you to the kind volunteers of Wombwell Cemetery and the use of their lovely building. What a privilege to be the first person to officiate a funeral service since it's extensive renovation programme. Thank you to Marc and his brilliant team at Wombwell Funeral Services for their services today. Outstanding!

Officiated the funeral service today of a wonderful lady from Barnsley. I had the usual comments of "lovely service ". Which are always nice to hear. But the one's that said "Thanks for the service, everything you said, it were like you knew her!" And "Best funeral I have been to", Means that I am doing my job right. The family and friends of the deceased loved one are comforted knowing they are in good hands at a sensetive time like that of a final farewell ceremony. Feeling blessed and humbled right now.

This is very nice for a keepsake. My daughter made it. She says it can be a fridge magnet, but I think it would be a nice key ring. Just a little reminder about your loved one.

To all my family and friends, to those families who have lost loved ones this year, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Think about them, remember them, salute them. Raise a glass to them. Talk about them in the same way you always do. Laugh at the good times shared. Merry Christmas to you all and a happy and prosperous New year.

It was a real honour today to take part in the funeral service of Robert Henry Toplis. To meet the extended family of this wonderful man and to listen to more stories about his life.
Thanks to Joan and Madeline for allowing me the privilege of serving your families at this time. Although it is a solemn occasion, it really did turn out to be a celebration of Bob's life.

It was a real honour to officiate the funeral service of a true gentleman today. What a great send off for a truly well loved and respected man. The place was filled to capacity with friends and family. Great tributes were given about his life. His influence among his piers means he won't be forgotten any time soon.

The Barnsley Legend that is George Smith sadly passed away yesterday. The Smith family and myself will be paying respect, honouring and celebrating George. His service will be held at Barnsley Crematorium. Date and time to be confirmed yet. He sold "The green un" and " The Barnsley Star " to many a passer by in the town centre over the years, proud to call this man my uncle. My thoughts and prayers are with you all tonight.
RIP Uncle George.

Conducted a funeral for a lovely family this week for their 84 year old dad. The family shared so much love and respect for each other . They must surely inherit some of that from their parents. In times like these, when we can turn to each other and bolster each other up and support one another, it makes the grieving process that little easier. Friends too that are there for you are to be treasured too.Go on, make someone's day today.
