Bringin' It Back Festival 2023

OK folks I'm aware some are saying that Great Yarmouth is too far and bring it back up north, and I know that they travel to Scotland and Hampshire etc which is further. Here's the thing, for over a decade I have travelled to Blackpool, Wakefield, Barnsley etc to support and run these events, and it's a great distance for us to travel with our trailer equipment lighting etc and this time Gary Rowntree and I were thinking it maybe time to try a different location. I know when some go to Blackpool the events are held in a venue and you book accommodation separately so this would be no different. Within a 2 minute walk there is a Weatherspoons hotel, within 10 minutes walk there are in excess of 50 hotels and bed and breakfasts and you could book according to your budget, or stay a bit further out at a Premier Inn (20 minute walk 5 min taxi drive).
The venue has two taxi ranks outside and the venue serves food, has a fabulous dance floor and we are considering an outside one as well.
This would not be a competition but as before a showcase with the best ETAs, rock and roll Artistes, a marvellous Compere and Rockin DJs.
I'm the mornings you could wander around Gt Yarmouth and we would start at lunchtime until as, late as want as the bar can be open until 4am!
Ive already had some wonderful ETAs contact me expressing interest and we would be booking other tribute acts to add to the entertainment.
We are considering taking a risk in putting on this 3 day extravaganza... I'm just sounding out if anybody would be interested 😍

OK folks a couple of us are mulling over the possibility of putting on The Bringing It Back Festival on again in June 2025 but in Gt Yarmouth. The thing is most hotels with function rooms are already full with weddings etc. I have an amazing venue but it would mean folks staying at one of the many hotels or B and Bs within few minutes walk. We would do it on same principle as before ETAS (no competition) Compere and other Tribute acts or bands... How much support would there be for something like this? I know I could get the ETAs here... Some have since cone and played here.... Just putting this out there as a point of interest....

Good afternoon and here is the response to the many messages we have received. This year was fabulous and we loved every moment of it with you all. There is, potentially a few issues with this happening next year. Firstly the gorgeous Gary and amazing Paul have diaries that are so busy even finding a day together is hard and that is just how it should be those guys work so hard and it is fabulous that the demand for their shows is so high. Secondly the hotel are increasing venue hire costs. Now I did consider doing this alone or potentially move it to Great Yarmouth maybe at our club venue with everyone finding their own hotel rooms or trying to find a local hotel to do a similar deal.... But I am unsure! So much goes on Blackpool way that I thought Great Yarmouth Might be a change... I'm undecided if I can do this or if there is enough support - Sherylanne

It's my turn now to get soppy n sentimental! Totally apologise fir the delay but when we finally got back from Bringin' It Back Festival 2023 we came home to a myriad of problems with absent staff and a flood in our flat 🤦‍♀️ as some of you know we live in and manage a care home we own so it's always a tad manic in our lives but even more so this week. To top it all we had a fire inspection today and I came home with a virus I must have picked up and now passed to Karlos!
Oh what a fandabidozi fantabulous weekend with you all. I have so much love and gratitude to so many people... To the gorgeous Paul Molloy for keeping me "relaxavous" and calm, for the amazing and at time a tad crazy but adorable Gary Rowntree I love you guys. Your energy and passion is boundless and you made this old lady very happy.

There are not words to describe the joy you brought with your voices we were truly blessed to have you with us. You do not know the impact your music has on others and happiness it brings. You were amazing.
To my own DJs Hodgins KM DJK and Jukebox Johnny on Splinterwood Radio I know I paid you in Coca-Cola and pizza... Next time it will be beer and a carvery lol cos you certainly earned it... You played music they wanted and music they didn't know they wanted until they heard it ❤️
To our amazing audience, you danced, you sang, you laughed and you joined in... How beautiful are you all ❤️
And finally to the incredible Hart family Nigel, Lorraine Hart Lesley Hart Cannon Hart Cameron Hart and Brent Waltham you are the most compassionate and considerate people we could wish to meet you are real heroes thank you ❤️
And to those crazy The Original East Coast Swing & Jive Dance Club members who came with me.... You lot are just bat s**t crazy... 😂😂😂 But I love you.

Good evening everyone.... Quick update on our minibus misery.... We spoke to the dealer today who apologised wholeheartedly and has offered to refund me cost of all repairs and expenses including the extra night for us all at the hotel... Thank you to everyone for your concern and support # # #
