Calling all musicians and music fans ... we need your help
Action taking place this week... Thursday 2nd July
The Agents Association have joined with CPA, National Arenas Association, and the British Association of Concert Halls to commence a political lobbying campaign which will highlight the problems the industry is facing, and to call for Government action. They are asking for financial support and a definitive timeline for re-opening.
To show support there are two things you can do:
1) Add your name to a letter being sent to the Culture Secretary by emailing [email protected] by 4pm Tue 30th June.
2) Social media action - on Thursday 2nd July, share videos and images of your last gig under the banner with the aim to get it trending. Ask your fans to also share the posts.
It is hoped that by creating noise and highlighting the importance of live entertainment, the Government will then show full support.
Protect the UK live music industry.
Please do not do part 2 until Thursday 2nd July so it makes more impact # # #
Thank you ❤️
We are sorry to announce that the next few months' Electric Cabaret's aren't going to happen due to the current pandemic. We will reconvene when it has all blown over. A massive thanks to Marcus and all the staff at the Old School House Venue for being so awesome despite all the sad times.
Stay safe people and we'll see you on the other side.
Headlining our March Cabaret, a visit from Shanghai Treason, who are taking time out of their very busy UK touring schedule to play this show... I just have a feeling these lads are destined for big things.

So, there wasn't going to be an April Electric Cabaret as Scott was busy on the final two weeks of the month... HOWEVER, we forgot that April also contains the Easter Bank Holiday... so not only are we announcing our fabulous March Cabaret, but we are announcing our Easter Special too.
In March expect another incendiary night at The OLD SCHOOLHOUSE VENUE with Shanghai Treason, The Early Mornings, The Cellar Thieves and Keiran La Fox, and in April expect more of the same explosive action with Parson's Lot, Canadians In Space, Indecision and MissUnderstood. Stick the dates in your diaries you crazy kids.
Pearson Memmott Conspiracy / Cubic / Pocketful O' Nowt
What a bloomin' good night. All three acts were superb, as we're the very generous audience. So sorry that Cobalt Tales couldn't make it. They were within 800 yards of the venue but had a tyrefiretastic issue to deal with and we will be rebooking them for later in the year. The Pearson Memmott Conspiracy kicked things off to a banging start, and Cubic kept that going. The off the wall antics of Pocketful O'Nowt finished it all off nicely. We've got a great line up for March too. Coming soon... Watch this space
Our first two acts have been awesome. Just one act to go before the end of another great night.
Tonight's awesome entertainment
Next Thursday
w/ Scott Doonican / Craig Westwood / Big Card / Mithryl / New Rebel Rocks
Coming in yer ears this at this month's Electric Cabaret...
Comedy glam-rock nutters, Pocketful O'Nowt will be headlining the bill that also features the return of Barnsley's own Cubic, the fabulous Cobalt Tales and The Pearson Memmott Conspiracy will be making their debut.
Spread the word. We'll see you on Thursday 27th February.
Come to the Cabaret
It feels like ages since the last Cabaret Doonican's Electric Cabaret. We have four more great musical acts this Thursday. Hope you can join us
Coming in your ears next Thursday. Spread the word

My sincerest apologies to The Ferretts as due to being a bear 🐻 of very little brain I had misplaced their original booking from very early this year, for this Thursday. It has however been remedied, and Thursday night will now start at 8pm (as originally planned, but without any intro set from myself)... the upside to you lot? Well, you get another great act!
Here goes... our November line-up! Another brilliant night of live music, where we cater for a great listening audience...
This month's headliners are Barnsley's own clog-stompin' fiddle-driven folkniks Parson's Lot, and they will joined by the wonderful talents of: Wilde Sammon, Good Nothings and Aftermath
We aren't on the last Thursday of the month this month, so please note the date! See y'all there!
A great live video from Canadians In Space who played last month. This month's line-up coming later tonight!!
Tonight has been fabulous so far. A big thanks to Dave Bottomley, Sam Tucker?, Canadians In Space and the act who are finishing off another brilliant night of great live music, the fabulous Stellavision. As always a big thank you to Marcus Ward for the best sound in Tarn.
