Did you know? 🤔 When the clutch pedal is depressed, the release bearing is pressed against the clutch with up to 1200Nm. That corresponds to about 120kg! This force is then transmitted to the crankshaft thrust bearings. These parts are designed to last the entire vehicle life when the clutch is used for shifting and starting. If the clutch remains disengaged for a long period of time, for example in a traffic jam, the thrust bearings of the crankshaft are subjected to high loads. This can cause premature wear, increase the axial play of the crankshaft, and damage surrounding engine parts.

2019 1.2 Vauxhall 53.000 miles came in with oil pressure warnings. Fault was due to wet belt debris blocking oil pick up. New belt and a good clean it’s now fault free. Correct oil is a must on any wet belt engine along with regular servicing.

Electric ⚡️ Renault in for service. We have level 3 and 4 qualified EV technicians so you’re electric car is in safe hands 🙌🏻

Audi A1 came in with Air bag light on. We also found no horn operation or steering wheel controls. A new steering column module was installed and coded to rectify the problems.

Jeep came in to us for a TPMS fault. We fitted and coded in a new sensor so the system is now working again.

ABS light on This was traced to a damaged pick up which is part of the bearing assembly.
