So exciting! After weeks of preparation for our group sessions, I'm now working on bringing complimentary and holistic therapies into the community either via our little sanctuary (early to mid 2024) or i can bring it to you in the comfort of your own home.
This is currently being worked on to ensure that everything is covered from insurance to equipment.
We will bring progrssive updates as and when they become available.

Hi all, just another heads up that we are now taking names down for our first session of relaxation and meditation, which is to be on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at the Kent View Community Centre in Vange.
We open at 6.30pm and our session is due to start from 7pm for around an hour, followed by a general discussion, followed by refreshments served.

If you would like to reserve your place for the above date, simply pm me with your name and a contact number and I'll add you to our list. We ask for a contact number per person just incase we have to cancel or reschedule for any reason.

Thank you to everyone who has reserved a space, we do still have spaces available, so contact us now to reserve your space.
Limited spaces available for 30 people max per group.

Plus we are still on the lookout for a few female volunteers to assist during our sessions. Get in touch if you are interested in helping out.

RE: Meditation and relaxation sessions.
Due to so much interest from everyone in the Pitsea, Vange and Basildon areas, we are now setting up a pre booking list for our first session which is to be held at the Kent View Community Centre on 30th January.
So we can only take upto 30 people in any one session thanks to our 2 volunteers who have offered to help us.
So pm Dana Tobin to reserve your spot and remember you only pay £5 on arrival at the session.

Hi everyone, just a quick update, we now have 2 volunteer helpers for the meditation and relaxation sessions, but would also like to hear from any women who would be willing to help as volunteers. This is to ensure that some of the more vulnerable members of the group can feel more at ease. So please get in touch if interested. Thank you so much xx

***UPDATE***
I have arranged it so we can hold our first relaxation and meditation session at Riverview Community Centre in Vange and our first session will be held once a month starting on Tuesday 30th January 2024 from 6.30pm.
We have allowed upto 30 slots for people to attend due to the size of the hall and for the comfort of the group.
Sessions will be charged at £5 per person and refreshments will be available afterwards.

We are also looking for 2 volunteers who hold a mental health first aid certificate to give a hand throughout the group sessions with assisting with monitoring the group, assisting group members etc.

Update, we are now looking at 2 halls in the Basildon district to hold our monthly sessions from. Still to confirm and hoping to get an update out by the end of this week about the Kent View Community Centre. So watch out for leaflets being delivered around the estate where kent view community centre hall is situated. If not keep a check here on our fb page for further developments.
Plus we are looking at approaching local companies in order to bring relaxation and meditation into the workplace to help lower stress and boost employee productivity. If you are a business owner or work for a large firm in the Basildon district and would like to know more, then please get in contact with us.

Hello and welcome to the all new 'The Sword Group'. This page has been created to help you to discover more information about our relaxation and meditation groups and sessions. Our aim is to bring the benefits of relaxation and meditation out into the community of Basildon and surrounding areas within the county of Essex. Whether it be in a community setting, private club, workplace, school or college, our therapist can tailor make the session to meet the needs of your group in order to reduce stress and fatigue while improving productivity, socialization, health and wellbeing by learning useful techniques of relaxation and meditation.
So why take the time and stress of travelling to a residential sanctuary, when we can bring it to you.
