We are really looking forward to new team therapist Anette starting this week who will be offering this amazing treatment.

You may have heard about this treatment and here’s how it works.

Facial Gua Sha has been proven to reduce facial tension, puffiness, inflammation, support circulation, lymphatic drainage, sinus pressure, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, lift, plump and sculpt.

We are really excited to announce that Anette Hall will be joining our team this month starting next week.

Annette has an amazing 25 years experience in the holistic world, and for the past 15 years has been a spa manager and therapist.

She has an enormous amount of professional experience and after having experienced her massage myself I can honestly say she her massage is incredible!!

As well as deep tissue and Swedish massage, Anette will be offering Reflexology, Including fertility, pregnancy and menopause specific treatments and GUA SHA facial massage.

You will find her at the clinic on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 🩷

So technically Summer is not over yet, but it certainly feels like it especially with schools going back next week and bank holiday over.

We are really excited to be going into a new season where we have a few new treatments on offer and are looking forward to getting back to work after the summer breaks.

My Insta takeover week has been great and I’m finishing it with some self-care at a festival by having some massage at the wellness tent.

As a therapist it’s really important to look after our own physical and mental health, we encourage our clients too and it’s easy to forget ourselves.

Here I am at BMC in central Bath with a lovely full day of clients ahead.

I love the variety of my work from relaxing Swedish massage to working with expectant clients, and now the new addition of Acupressure Facial Massage, every day is so different.

Yesterday was amazing! I was on a course at learning Acupressure Facial Massage with who is such an inspiring teacher.

Polly has been offering this treatment for a while as always said how brilliant it is for so many different things, and now I know why first hand!

It is super relaxing and offers clients space to find a deep level of calm. Not only that it is an excellent treatment for people who grind teeth and have tight jaws, and who suffer with headaches (so good for menstrual and menopause also). It's also very calming so if you feel stressed, are over whelmed or anxious then it's a good treatment for you.

Hello I’m Briony and I’m taking over this account all week and looking forward to connecting with you all.

I’ve been at BMC for a while now and love being a massage therapist. In particular the work I’m doing with our pregnant clients is so rewarding, and such a privilege to be able to do for them.

Aside from my work I do love a festival, I was lucky enough to be glamping recently with friends at one. Really enhoyed the relaxed vibes, music and dancing and spending some time in the sunshine☀️

We have a new therapist joining our, team… welcome KATIE

Katie will be joining us this month and joining Eli in offering Sports masaage therapy, as well as Deep Tissue and Swedish.

Qualified with a Diploma in Sports Massage, Katie also is a fully qualified PT. Her past experience in academy football, where she was introduced to the fundamentals of health and fitness, has laid the foundation of her journey and ignited her passion of helping others.

Katie discovered the immense benefits of weightlifting and the impact it had on her own physical and mental well-being. As she delved deeper into the world of fitness, she realised the crucial role that recovery and injury prevention played in maintaining optimal performance.

We are very excited to have her on the team and between her and Eli we can now offer Sports massage Monday to Saturday.

Our joint appointments are very popular, and it was great to read this review by a recent couple who enjoyed their massages while staying in the city.

It's not just couples who book our joint appointments, it's friends having a day out in Bath, mums and daughters, and mums-to-be and a bestie too!

We have been working with pregnant women for over 10 years and absolutely love our maternity area of work. (so much so we have a dedicated website for this www.bumpbirthbabyuk.co.uk

Pregnancy can physically affect the body both before and after the birth, and a specialist pregnancy massage can help pre and post-natal women with recovery and regaining strength. We are fortunate to have two massage therapists who offer this, Briony and myself, Polly.

Cristina and I had a great day last week studying Hot Stone Massage, which we are very excited to be now offering 💖

The course was amazing and definitely changed some of our assumptions about Hot Stones!

When you see a photo of hot stones it’s usually a lovely looking female lying down with stones placed on her back relaxed with flowers and candles around her - well it can be this, and usually is in a beauty/spa setting.

The course taught us how to incorporate the stones into our massage as a deep tissue and Swedish massage treatment to treat injury and other issues,
like headaches, releasing the scapula & shoulder/neck area, reduction of muscle tensions and increase localised blood flow.

Hot Stones has numerous benefits and can be used to apply heavier pressures and includes fascial release techniques.

It’s an extension of our hands and the heat feels incredible! If you haven’t tried it we’d love to invite you to give it a go - you’ll receive your usual firm massage with the added benefit of heat, and of course you’ll feel
