Our pub quiz is taking a short break whilst the summer heat is with us.

Our Raven IPA was designed with Arbor based on customer feedback after trialling a few different batches.

The one available on our bars today is the final product, and is of our best sellers!

On hot days like today, our ice cream sundae is perfect. We serve desserts up until 9pm and our outdoor seating area remains open until 10pm. ☀️🍨

Here is a bit of history on the Raven, and an old image of the pub in the 20th century when it was called ‘H.R Wine & Spirit Merchant’.

We have a lot more history of the pub on our website, and even stock a poster the pub’s past.

Schools have broken up! We’re pleased to now offer a smaller menu for children in our updated menu - for family visits to the pub.

Please note, children are welcome in our library, upstairs spaces and the Quiet Street bar. The original Queen Street bar area is for adults only!

If you’re playing Boules in Queen Square tonight, be sure to visit us for a pint before or after the game!

Takeaway pints are available. We’ll be there supporting our very own Raven team.🐦‍⬛

Our bars have had slight renovations going on over the last week, to make way for an even wider variety of drinks on offer at The Raven.

We have covered all bases with the spirits, to offer a local, mid-range and slightly-higher end option across the board. As well as this, we have more varieties of whisk(e)y, brandy and shots, and many new flavours of gin (& tonics!).

It’s New Menu day! We’re now offering even more variety with our food options to accompany our real ales, wines and spirits.
