Making elderflower cordial today! It’s literally growing everywhere is look, picked it up on the way home from school from the hedges! Let’s see what it tastes like!! 😁

This one has been cooking over night, an amazing smell to wake up to!
Drinking this stuff brings great benefits! It is rich in nutrients, a great source of gelatine which protects our joints, and also some amino acids in it may also be helpful for our digestion’s system and these are only a few of the benefits!

Snack time!!!! What do you reach for?
I had a moment free this morning where the kids and I threw these together, the snack cupboard was running dry, and the bananans needed to be used!
These two ingredient cookies are healthy, tasty and a great go to for a quick fix!
2x bananas
1-2cups of oats
Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees
Mash bananas, add oats and mix until the consistency is sticky but not too runny.
Spoon onto a baking tray
Cook for 15-20 minutes until lightly brown on outside.
Optional extra add coconut, choc chips, or cinnamon for added flavour.
Make a big batch and freeze for up to 2 months
These are a staple for us as I always seem to have some bananas that are over ripe🙈it’s a great way to use waste and not throw them away, also another sneaky way to get some fruit into the kids 😜
Save this recipe for later so you have it to hand when those bananas are ready!🍌🍌
My girls….(head fuzz is Poppy, couldn’t get her to stay still🤣)) what a crazy journey it is to raise children, the constant self questioning…am I doing enough? Am I doing too much? Are they having fun? Are they learning enough?
But the one thing I have been thinking about recently is am I enjoying them enough??
I don’t want to let this Christmas season pass by with the ‘business’ that is accepted, I want to push back on that. Take is slower, enjoy small moments, and laugh a LOT more!!

Wow it’s been a minute since I posted last! Life happened and I chose to be present in it,…..had a birthday, a wedding anniversary, and have a teething baby and ….well ya know life!! 🤪😅 I also have just started watching scrubs from the beginning (which takes a lot of dedication! 😉🤓)
Here’s to being 32, loving Jesus, raising a family and pursing dreams all with by my side!

Didn’t manage to get outside today between showers so Olivia and I got busy in the kitchen!
We made healthy(ish) Rhubarb gooseberry crumble bars, and I realised I haven’t sat down yet today so am having one with a cuppa tea 👌🏻 it was a perfect afternoon snack for all the girls too!
I really try to cook the same for all of us, because the idea of cooking two meals each night is a little 🤪
Don’t get me wrong I definitely make meals sometimes I think they will LOVE and it’s an absolute fail! But we try sit there as long as it takes for them to eat it, or we put their fave sauce all over it so they literally can’t taste it! Lol! Doesn’t always work but it’s pretty successful! There are many little tips and tricks to help your kids eat, and eat well, I’ll be sharing a few over the next few weeks!

Sandpit pools, beautiful flowers and three crazies! This week has been good for my soul, trying to slow down and enjoy where I am!
I felt like I blinked and suddenly everything when from calm and manageable to very busy and challenging and I wasn’t ready for it!!
I have struggled this week to reclaim the balance, and disciple I need to recenter myself. For me being an enneagram type 3 stopping is a challenge, but one that I want to learn.
The Sainsbury’s delivery got me out of bed at 6am this morning, and I had a quiet moment in the calm and went for a run🏃♀️! Both of these I know brings me life, joy and health, and they are the first things to go when I get stressed!
No shame for losing them, but I’m choosing to consciously add them back in, because I choose to own my health! Mental, emotional, and physical! 👊🏻

Washing up (we don’t have a dishwasher!!😱) playing barbies, working, cooking….
there are a lot of mundane jobs to do, there are also a lot of jobs that repeat, BUT I have to believe that what I do makes a difference because if I didn’t I would get pretty bored,sad and fed-up!
If I stopped our house would be a mess, we wouldn’t have healthy food to eat, my kids wouldn’t have a place to call home, a place they are learning about love, family, and the world from!
A safe place makes a big difference, we all grow more, learn more and are more vulnerable in a safe space….so what I do does make a difference!
And what you do makes a difference!!
Is stress causing you to over eat? Is lack of sleep making you moody? Do you know what foods make you feel the most vibrant?
Once upon a time I would eat a whole pack of cookies coming home from dance school because I hadn’t eaten enough all day, and then wonder why I felt awful in the evening?!! My focus was on how I looked (or wanted to)….then came children, and I just forgot how to look after myself properly altogether! 🤦♀️Sleep deprivation and survival mode kick in fast, BUT what if there was another way?
I am really passionate about helping mums reclaim themselves, feel energised and confident in their bodies!

We’re back! What a fun week camping, Berry picking, beach days, making kebabs on tent pegs, seeing friends and family! I feel full, and surprisingly refreshed😁

Wow, it’s been a busy few days, weeks, and months!! 😅 I’m signing off for a week, I’ll be living it large in a tent with the fam and really praying the rain holds off!! 😩🌧⛺️

Learning to own my journey, to live my best life with no lies or inhibitions holding me back! Learning how to be own and understand my emotions, cook healthy and build exercise into my life so I can still run around with them and their children when I am older!

Happy Friday!!! Celebrating with these carrot apple vegan muffins! Im always pretty bad at following recipes using them as a guide instead of following exactly, and the same goes for this one….definitely added a lot more healthy things to these babies and it actually paid off this time 😆😅

Since having kids I now carry 3 extra bottles around with me ….a bit over kill?!?😅🤣
Get yourself a reusable bottle and drink at least 2 litres a day, I know it sounds a lot, but your body needs it! 💦💦
These guys had a sleep over at grandma &Papas last week. There was definitely a moment that I didn’t know what to do with myself…I felt a little lost.
As parents, it’s a challenge to do things for ourself sometimes because most of our attention is on our kids, partner or the things that need to get done! Buuutttt wouldn’t we love more effectively if we gave ourselves some time?? If we found out what we need to feel our best and fed ourselves the right foods then we ourselves are more energised and refreshed to give out!?!

Yesterday was so lovely and sunny I ended up a little burnt🤦♀️ of course I think of the kids first, hats and suncream but forget about me! Classic! But happy with the first fruits🌿🌱hoping there are many more to come!
