During May year 10 and 11 went out to various work experience placements around the city. This experience gave the young people an opportunity to use the skills they have been building in school and explore the world of work first hand. Some young people were supported by Three Ways staff and some went to their placements independently. We are extremely grateful to the businesses who support us each year and the time their staff give to supporting the young people and giving them a great experience. This years placements were The Roman Baths, The Holburne Museum, Better Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, Hotel Indigo Bath, DoubleTree by Hilton Bath, St Michael's Without Cafe, Bath Parks Department, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, Bath City Football Club, Oldfield Park Nursery, Power of Play Nursery group, Hallmark Midford Manor Luxury Care Home, Designability, Nova Sports & Coaching, Watsons Gym and Three Ways PE Department.
Poodle Class visited The Holburne Museum - everyone had the best time exploring the Mr Doodle exhibition & workshop. The students were all completely mesmerised & immersed in the endless doodles! We used torches & magnifying glasses to explore the doodles before recreating our own doodle masterpieces using different materials!
We can't wait to visit the Holburne again soon to explore the beautiful building & gardens!

On Friday 15th March, Three Ways pupils enjoyed taping Mr. Eddy to the wall. For 50p, pupils and staff got to vote and get a piece of tape. Thank you for being a good sport 😊
All proceeds went towards Comic Relief.
The Student Voice Leadership Team attended the Metro Mayor’s School Summit on the 12th March. The group presented a pitch to The Dragon’s Den, which was a selection of business people from the Bristol area. Our pitch was the importance of employment opportunities for young people with SEND. The panel was so impressed, that we were invited to attend another event in 6-weeks at UWE. Well done SVLT!
In celebration of British Science Week 2024, ThreeWays School welcomed the Teach Rex team to school on Tuesday. Pupils across the school were excited to interact with the dinosaurs and their handlers. Scientific learning outcomes ranged from using our senses to explore something new, to generating big questions about what it means to be living (or extinct).
A Big Thank you so much for all the training, running in the rain and the fundraising that everyone has done for the Bath Half this weekend.
