SENIORS LEAGUE RESULT
This week was a big week in the Linlithgowshire Golf Association’s calendar with three final round games being played today and three teams contesting for first place.
Despite a 4-1 home win for Greenburn against Harburn this afternoon our lads finished in second place to Linlithgow Golf Club who had a great 3-2 away win at Dundas Parks.

Team Greenburn lost to Harburn Golf Club this morning in a closely contested semi final played at Harburn Golf Club.
The final was played in great spirit this afternoon with Kingsfield Golf Club picking up the coveted Courier Trophy.
Well done to all participants and congratulations to Kingsfield.
Linlithgowshire Courier Trophy
Another good result for Team Greenburn against Linlithgow at Harburn Golf Club tonight. The lads go on to the semi final on Sunday morning at Harburn and will meet the winners of Harburn & Pumpherston.

Congratulations and well done to our Seniors League Team on an away 4 to 1 win at Binny this afternoon. The lads are sitting joint leaders with Linlithgow with two home matches still to play.

Our Story
A True Hidden Gem located along the Breichwater Valley within the village of Fauldhouse. Approximately 25 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow and only 10 minutes off the M8 motorway from junctions 4a, 4 and 5 Greenburn Golf Club truly is “Golf in the Heart of Scotland”.
An 18 hole mix of parkland & moorland this tricky and testing par 71 course offers up its challenges to both the average and more experienced golfer alike. There is always a wind driving through the Breichwater Valley adding variation to your game and the golf course.
Our signature 18th hole is considered by many to be the best finishing hole of any golf course in the wider area. This medium length par 4 has out of bounds running its full length on both sides of the fairway. When you stand on the elevated tee with a potentially good score this generous fairway and landing zone seems to fade to nothing. It is without a doubt a true leveler for any match going down the last, both for the competitor or less serious golfer.
Open to members, visitors and society groups of all ages and abilities Greenburn can provide the challenging play you seek while at just over 6000 yards in length it is not overly harsh to golfers of any ability.
In its present location from 1953 and built by the members themselves, it’s motto “Per Nostra Opera” (by our own endeavors) still epitomises the spirit of the club to this day.
