Ask yourself what its for

9 times out of 10 its for them and the likes and not for you...

9 times out of 10 you've seen everyone else do it and you are on the comparison wagon and want to paint a FAKE picture of how it's been just like they have...

Sometimes you'll pull the "I want to inspire, help and motivate others" (I'll listen to that if you show me you have inspired and motivated yourself through your own work first, outside of that cut the s**t....)

If you really want to express what 2023 did FOR YOU negative and positive, grab a book a pen and free 20 minutes on your own and write it down

If you want to express thanks and appreciation for people ring them or meet up with them and tell them

If you want to go one further look at every single fu***ng thing that happened , GOOD AND BAD and throw gratitude at them all for what they are going to do for you now going forward

Or don't.....It's all up to U...

Finally off for Christmas, first beer and a rattle on the whistle I found when I was convinced to put a tree up a few days ago (I'm not a Grinch I'm just never in and I'm very grateful for the persuader)

Here's a quick one.... there's many people who sadly aren't with us anymore, and at this time of year that can get to us, bring us down a bit and bring some sadness to the holidays

But we have a choice..... we can be sad that they are no longer around the table, or , we can think back on all of the fu***ng class memories, smile and be thankful that we had the privilege to have those people in our lives at all

You don't need to change the world, move mountain's, lay down massive one off huge moves, you just have to consistently do MORE than the next person would and all of the above will happen around you

Great night connecting with young people and delivering a important message

1. Whatever your vocation or mission you MUST find like-minded people, the journey can seem lonely, but the support that's out there is endless

2. Grab every opportunity to stretch out of your comfort zone that you can, opportunity very quickly comes knocking

A valuable lesson about locking your back door...

I get asked ALOT "How do put up with doing all this?"

And I hear ALOT "I duno how you could be annoyed doing all that mentoring stuff"

It's not everyone's bag, not everyone wants to run a business, and even fewer people want to try and help people but that's totally fine

Here's the reality, this is a selfish endeavour........

Yep, you heard me correct

I can't begin to describe the feeling that comes when someone you're working with gets the result they so desperately wanted.... its addictive

To see and hear about the result, to know that that person has done what for so long they believed they couldn't is mind blowing and I couldn't be more grateful to be a small part of it.

2. Lock your fu***ng door folks!

What they didn't realise was I was just wrapping up a zoom with a client who I've been working with for quite some time

They had just told me that the intention we had been working on, the one that mattered the most, the one that marked the complete 180 in life had landed...

I don't do "social proof" content from the people I work with very much, I get told by every other coach or mentor out there that I need to

For me personal lives and struggles aren't things I want to parade

But that's me standing in my office trying to hold it together, thats me a very happy and grateful man...

Theres nothing on this planet that is as beneficial BOTH WAYS as helping another human being.... There's your social proof

I'd be lieing if I said this last few weeks haven't been challenging but if you arnt pushed you won't grow

Play the hand you are delt no matter how s**te it might look, what ever you get landing at your feet find your leverage, find your opportunities, find the avenues within it to LEARN as a minimum or WIN as a product of perseverance and grit.
....or..... Give up, blame someone or something else, be the center of attention for your pity party and move no further forward

The choice is yours....... but believe me if you even just adopt the attitude of the first option regardless of what's coming at you you're already winning harder than the vast majority

Have an unreal weekend folks, do what ever you want that makes you happy, peace and love to you and yours

We are planning to start the session at 8 on the dot so if everyone could be there for around 7.45 that would be great

Parking is a bit limited around Helens Bay so leave plenty of time incase you need to walk down abit

The sea dip will last about 10-15 mins then we will jump out and start the chat, by taking part you are entering the water at your own risk under your own free will so please be aware of that

Ideally if you can bring something to sit with you that would be great, any questions just shout me 🙌🏻 G

THE NEXT BIG PHAT CHAT IS ON ..... with a difference....

On the back of the massive success of the last event John and me felt we needed to keep going

On the 16th of July 8pm, Helens Bay Beach we are going to run the 2nd one, but to start off we are going for a BIG PHAT DIP!

10mins in the cold water before heading to a quiet spot on the beach to circle up and support each other in off loading some of our troubles, worries, stresses and thoughts.

Yesterday Morning we had our 2nd session at Seaview in the lead up ro the boys heading to Foyle Cup.

The lads set some standards for themselves around how they look after their body and mind away from the football environment

Not only will this help with the focus and hard work needed for the tournament, the skills these lads are developing will benefit them for their entire lives going forward

Can't wait to see them all next week to get stuck into the next session.
