If you’re making your way as a musician give Cosmic Jam a try, it’s our open mic event.
If you’re a comedian or simply like watching comedy shows we have our monthly Accidental Comedy Club for you.
If you’re bored of watching films at home, come watch classic films and discuss them in our You Never Seen It Film Club.
If you’re a writer or need support in your writing journey you can join Accidental’s Writer’s Corner or share your written work as part of the Writer’s Digital Showcase.
If you’re looking to network with other artists and community groups, or wanna find collaboration opportunities, you are welcome to join our Artists Get Together Sessions “ArtFlow”.

To Develop your art skills we host a number of classes and workshops that you can join.

ArtFlow: Accidental's Artists Get Together...
It's a lot more than that!
We invite you all wether you're an artist or activist or someone interested in culture to join us in our ArtFlow sessions, a Sunday once a month, where we meet new people share ideas, ambitions, work in progress and obstacles that we need a hand with to overcome.
Our next session is taking place on Sunday, 22nd September, 3-5pm.
Last time we had a great turn up where we discussed our roles in supporting our community and what we can do through arts to strengthen each other and best employ our skills positively.

To support writers in our community, we have created the Writers Corner, an affordable dedicated space for writers to come together and write.
Taking place once a month, from 12-3pm, the Book Bar will be transformed into a Writers Corner. Tucked into a cosy corner, writers can gather and connect and let their imagination roam.
There, you’ll have the opportunity to sketch scenes, refine chapters, plot the next novel, novella or stage play, or simply immerse yourself in your work-in-progress.
The next date for our Writer’s Corner is Sunday September 1st, 12-3pm.

Summer is ending and our hearts are breaking!
The good news is that we have a line-up of a variety of events that are very interesting to farewell this year’s summer.
Cosmic Jam our monthly open mic night is on Thursday 22nd August 8pm.
On Friday the 23rd of August, we have the wonderful madness of the Hamerama Festival 24 hosted by the genius lads of Crude Vernacular
On Sunday 25th August we have Never Seen It Film Club where we're showing the original BEETLEJUICE (1988) to give you a chance to see it before the new one comes out next month!

We’re thrilled to announce that the upcoming 2024/25 Writers Circle will be taking place in September. This time round, we’re interested in hearing from writers exploring the personal experience (in whatever form that takes) and experimental writing.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to
1) Engage in meaningful discussions about their writing challenges,
2) Receive valuable feedback
3) Access peer support
4) Become an integral part of a vibrant writing community
5) Advance their work.
At the Writers Circle, we are committed to curating an environment that is equally supportive for all participants. Our focus is not on critiquing individual excerpts, but rather delving into the writing challenges presented by the work overall and identifying new possibilities through insightful discussion. Community lies at the heart of the Writers Circle. Applicants must be available to attend the first Sunday of every month from 3.30-5.30pm, September through to February and they are expected to be working on longer pieces, a novel, a novella, memoir or play, and nearing their first draft.

Accidental Comedy Club welcomes Sarah Firby to headline our August 18th show.
Sarah Firby is simply a sweet technological baby with a magic handbag.
When she’s not plagiarising Teletubbies press releases, Sarah can be found on stages all over Northern Ireland delighting audiences with tales of her bowels, her cats, and her cats’ bowels. A rising star of the Belfast comedy scene, Sarah’s unique blend of honesty and utter nonsense is sure to delight.
