💥August Connection Day - our monthly reminder to connect, collaborate and make a difference!
We combined fun with purpose, kicking off a donation drive for toiletries for those in need in Women's Aid Federation Northern Ireland refuges. 💕
Our employees were treated to complimentary massages across our NI sites, while enjoying some mouthwatering food- Lo & Slo Smoked Meats served up some amazing bbq in Derry, and in Belfast, we drew some inspo from Belfast Mela with delicious Hariyali chicken and cauliflower Sabzi 🍗🥦
The highlight? An unforgettable live lion dance performance by special guests from , complete with energetic drum music, celebrating the vibrant Mela Festival. 🦁
✨On Tuesday, August 20th, our volunteers were honored to support Women's Aid Federation Northern Ireland and assemble backpacks for all 111 children and young people currently residing in Women’s Aid Refuges. This is our second year supporting this vital initiative, and we are proud to help ease the burden for families who are bravely rebuilding their lives.
Women's Aid Federation Northern Ireland understand that domestic abuse affects the entire family, especially the youngest members. Last year, Women’s Aid provided crucial support to over 6,000 children and young people across Northern Ireland. As the new school year approaches, many families face the financial strain of getting their children equipped and ready, a burden felt even more deeply by those in refuge, having left behind so much.
💥Digital Excellence as standard💥

⭐ What an exhilarating launch for Belfast Mela 2024 yesterday!
Our very own IDE Manager Susan Walker joined the Lord Mayor of Belfast, and many other distinguished guests, to celebrate this vibrant and essential event of cultural diversity, along with our sponsorship of the ‘World of Wellbeing’.
We’re beyond excited for the festival, kicking off on Saturday, Aug 17th!🎇
💡 This week, we resumed our Global Product Learning Series with a strong focus on measuring how we live into our outcome-based delivery operating model. Our goal is to create clarity on what it truly means to be operational in this model while continuously maturing along the way.
Our skilled Digital Product Managers, Platform Consultants, Service Managers and Lead Engineers came together to ensure a consistent approach to our goals. They're collaborating to develop best practices, always keeping our customers' needs in mind 💭
By building confidence in all our employees to embrace this model, we're fostering an environment where product teams can thrive alongside their peers in similar roles.
Together, we're driving innovation and excellence every step of the way 🚀
A look back at Saturday’s Belfast Pride Parade 🌈 Employees came from far and wide to bring the hype for our Pride Celebrations and fly the Allstate flag 🎉
A wonderful day all round as we collectively celebrated each other and all that makes us unique! Our fabulous float and timeless tunes set us on our way ✨ 🎶
What a phenomenal day! 🌈🌟
As part of our Pride Week celebrations, we had the absolute honor of welcoming Deputy Leo Varadkar to our Belfast offices! 🎉 He joined us for an inspiring and open conversation with our LGBTQIA+ employee impact group, ‘Embrace’, and our Mental Health First Aid team.
Aligned with the Belfast Pride theme of ‘Love Your Mind’, we dived into vibrant discussions on mental health, reverse mentorship, visible allyship, diversity, inclusion, and equity. 🌈🧠
Leo was incredibly engaging and generous with his insights, sharing his personal experiences and the challenges he has overcome to reach the pinnacle of his career. His words left us all feeling empowered and inspired!
Our incredible Employee Impact Groups got together to raise awareness of their championed causes, and a volunteer bake sale attracted the crowds - all proceeds went to our 2024 chosen charity, Action Mental Health 🍰🍥
💡 Our weekly Product Social Learning series kicked off this morning with an emphasis on Product Reviews, delving into the processes and rationale behind them.
Our community of Digital Product Managers in Belfast and Derry convened in person to engage in a Product Review simulation. This exercise underscored the significance of these sessions in showcasing the exemplary work of our product teams and establishing a comprehensive, unified view of their product space, ensuring all stakeholders are simultaneously updated.
A delicious breakfast coupled with thought-provoking group discussion proved to be a real recipe for success! ☕
✨ Another incredible effort from Team Allstate. Thank you to the volunteers truly making a difference in their community!

🌲 Throughout June, dedicated Allstate volunteers participated in the Treekly "Turning Footsteps into Forests" Challenge, organized by our Allstate environmental committee, AllGreen. 🚶♂️
This challenge required participants to achieve a daily goal of 5,000 steps, for 30 days. Each participant's success contributed directly to the planting of mangrove trees in Mteza Creek, Kenya.
Collectively, the team accomplished an impressive 23 million steps, resulting in the planting of 3,278 trees and generating 102 days of fair-wage employment for local Kenyan communities. It is estimated that by 2050, these trees will eliminate over 1,000 tonnes of CO2, significantly contributing to a cleaner planet. 🌎
Congratulations to the entire team of volunteers for their outstanding efforts!
