After 26 incredible years, it’s time to close the doors to CHS Electrical. No regrets – just gratitude. Starting this journey with Peter all those years ago was one of the best decisions I ever made, and although Pete took a different path 19 years ago, our friendship has remained strong. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every single person and company that has supported CHS over the years. It’s been an amazing journey, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

As we close this chapter, I’m excited to announce the opening of a new one with Sovereign Commercial - Electrical Division. Well these early morning coffee breaks could soon be a thing of the past. Started in office at 6.30 and now enjoying 5 mins fresh air before getting back to it.

From 2nd September, CHS will be closing its doors as I embark on a new journey with Sovereign Commercial as Contracts Manager of their Electrical Division. For over 10 years, CHS has proudly served as Sovereign Commercial’s main electrical contractor.

To my loyal customers, rest assured that nothing changes. I will still be available on my mobile (same number) to assist with any electrical issues, alterations, or extensions you may need.

Today we had a bit of a laugh stripping out a generator at a client’s property.

The prospective new owners of the property don’t want it – in the countryside! Who’d say no to extra power in the middle of nowhere especially with the amount of power cuts there are.

Anyway, we’ve disconnected it so our client can take it to his new home and reinstall it later.

Work experience week at CHS Electrical.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a pupil from a local school for his work experience at CHS Electrical Ltd. He joined us on various jobs, including a college in Brighton, an industrial unit in Crowborough, a factory unit in Hastings, a local shopping centre, and an estate in Horam. This gave him the opportunity to see a variety of electrical installations.

During his time with us, I managed to go through some electrical wiring diagrams with him, and he even got the chance to wire up a small electrical board with sockets and lights. He did really well, demonstrating a great attitude and keen interest throughout the week.

With the *permission of his parents and himself*, he has kindly allowed us to share these photos of him and the progress he made with his board. He was thrilled to take it home, and we believe he appreciated the time we took to give him a brief view of life within electrical contracting.
