We’re delighted to announce our recent contribution to St. Paul’s Church in the Jewellery Quarter, right around the corner from our office in Birmingham.
We know just how important this historic building is to the local residential and business community, so we put our skills to use and arranged new flooring for the Church’s two meeting rooms, helping refresh and renovate this important community space.
A special thanks to for donating the flooring and Matthew Guest for fitting it and to the wonderful Jilly Cosgrove for her continued and tireless work for the church and wider JQ.
St Paul's Church was built in 1779 and has been at the heart of the JQ community ever since. The Church in St Paul's Square is an iconic image of the Jewellery Quarter.
With the rapid development of the JQ, there is an ever growing need to maintain the few green spaces we have here, chef amongst which is St Paul's Square. While having a Christian foundation and continuing to be a place of worship, St Paul's Church ensures that the Square is permanent and inclusive, a welcoming space for the whole of the community.
Some of you may be aware of their campaign, which is aiming to raise £660,000 to fix their 250 year old roof and ensure this iconic building remains open and used by the community at large. Any donations would be incredibly well received…

We’re thrilled to unveil our latest project at CornerBlock, Cornwall Street for our long-standing client, Bruntwood SciTech!
We revamped the reception area with bespoke joinery and elegant lighting, setting a modern and welcoming tone. Our work included:
- Versatile studio spaces with solid and glass partitions.
- A stylish, refreshment area for staff breaks and hospitality.
- A blockwork cycle store promoting sustainable transport.
- Enhanced changing rooms with new lockers and counters for tenant comfort.

Sitting atop the 11-storey Grade A building, our team at Estilo Interiors has brought Alteriors Design & Build Ltd designs to life and meticulously crafted a dynamic workspace that embodies both functionality and style. From collaboration hubs, to adaptable meeting rooms, every detail is designed to foster productivity and creativity.
Our work included introducing varied partitioning to form an agile working environment with associated staff breakout and support areas and a new client suite comprising of reception area, meeting and conference rooms, kitchenette, client lounge and facilities office. Additionally, we've installed suspended rafts on the 10th floor, enhancing both the workspace's aesthetics and acoustics.

This venture, initiated by Bruntwood SciTech, points to a shared commitment towards elevating tenant well-being and the overall experience within this dynamic hub.
The decision by Bruntwood SciTech to invest in the transformation of Cornerblock is part of their broader commitment to bolster the UK’s innovation economy. Cornerblock, strategically positioned in Birmingham’s central business district, becomes a focal point for attracting global industry leaders. This development follows Bruntwood SciTech’s announcement in October 2023 of a £500m commitment, welcoming Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) as a partner alongside Bruntwood and Legal & General.

This project was a blend of design and functionality, spanning across multiple floors and encompassing various facets of modernisation.
The fourth floor received a CAT A fit out, with a full-fledged refurbishment of the washroom facilities. Meanwhile, on the ground floor, Estilo Interiors transformed the reception area and uplifted the lift lobby, enhancing the overall appeal and functionality of these crucial spaces.
Brand-new full-height external windows added to existing miniature balconies, bringing in plenty of natural light. The client's vision was to cement a presence close to the bustling business district while maintaining a connection to the charm of the Jewellery Quarter. To set this scheme apart, our design incorporated unique elements such as a striking black ceiling and chic brick slips, promoting the industrial heritage of the building and Birmingham as a whole.
The ground floor reception now boasts a sleek new layout with a high table for quick interactions and inviting lounge armchairs, creating an atmosphere that's both modern and inviting. From vision to reality, this project exemplifies innovation and thoughtful design.
