This summer, young people of Oasis Academy Short Heath were given the opportunity to try Basketball as part of their Bring it on Brum! programme. Coaches at the Academy also received training and equipment from England Basketball enabling them to deliver sessions to more young people in the future.
The young people and their coaches were then invited to celebrate the opening of one of 20 new 3x3 courts now open to the public as part of a collaboration between Basketball England, Birmingham City Council and Sport England.
