How often do you need to service your fire extinguishers you may ask? 🧯

You must have your fire extinguishers serviced, every 12 months. This is what's known as a basic service and needs to be done in accordance with BS 5036-3. This service is best done by a third party accredited fire extinguisher technician, with the correct tools, training and experience.

✅ All of our engineers are trained and experienced in maintaining and installing fire extinguishers in accordance to the current regulations.

Do you forget to book in the service for your fire extinguishers?

✅ well we have that covered. We have a team of experienced office staff, who ensure we schedule the service of your fire extinguishers every 12 months.

Our new electrician Blake is first to the electrical team, we are looking forward to expanding this further to meet your electrical needs💡

These are photos from a recent fire alarm remedial our engineers commenced. The fire alarm system had numerous faults and also had alot of detection which was old and damaged… our engineers replaced all detection which was needed and serviced the fire panel🔥

Another successful day in Birmingham today, installing access controlled door closers on some of the internal doors on a school.

This allows the school to monitor who enters and leaves the building through fob access on the Net2 system.

All of our engineers hold a full enhanced DBS and are multi skilled in Fire and security systems.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with some of the Uptick - Fire & Security Software team. To discuss a few new features we can take advantage of, to develop our procedures within the office and for our engineers out on site✅

📢Fire alarm panel upgrade📢

Today we have been busy completing a panel swap In Liverpool. The old panel was very old and contaminated with faults, now in it’s place is a fault free panel with new compliant detection🚨

Why is it important to get faults on your fire panel checked out you may ask…

Faults indicate there is a issue with the system, which could potentially delay the alert of a fire.

Always listen to your fire panel, it is vital for saving lives in an event of a fire 🔥

We are looking for a fire alarm engineer that is willing to train or multi disciplined engineer. Preferably with extinguisher certificate. We have a close team that enjoys working for a company that cares about their team members and customers.

All the usual provided: van, fuel card, phone, laptop, drills and test equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
The rate listed is the basic with overtime paid additional to that amount

Experience: Fire alarm engineer: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence with no points. (preferred)

Work Location: On the road

(30 minutes taken either side of the day)

✅Be willing to be on call 1 in 7 days and 1 in 7 weekends.

Fire extinguishers are a vital part of fire protection, but all too often they get misused as door stops or worse – left in a corner and forgotten about. But ignored fire extinguishers have a hidden risk: a failure to operate if not properly maintained.

Fire extinguishers play a very important role in first aid fire-fighting. They can mean the difference between a small localised incident that is quickly put out, or the fire and rescue service arriving to find a larger fire which puts life, property and the environment at risk.
