Whose ready to plant some trees on Thursday?! 💚🌳🌍

Ecosia - the search engine that plants trees 13/11/2019

We are super pleased to announce that as of next Thursday, BCU's default search engine will be changing from Bing to Ecosia - a search engine which plants trees with every 45 searches! This is a huge win in terms of environmental action for our university!

To put this in context, if all 24,000 students across the university did 1 search a day that would be 533 tress a day (16,000 trees a month...!) LET'S PLANT SOME TREES! 🌳💚🌲

Check it out for yourself, its free to download on your phone or laptop: https://www.ecosia.org

Ecosia - the search engine that plants trees Ecosia uses the ad revenue from your searches to plant trees where they are needed the most. By searching with Ecosia, you’re not only reforesting our planet, but you’re also empowering the communities around our planting projects to build a better future for themselves. Give it a try!
